All my personalities are simple, like simple things and listen to simple music.

What’s even more interesting is that these are probably the same people. image

I don’t believe this is true. In my experience, most conflicts will actually go away on their own. And people who try to resolve every argument are living in an unhealthy state of perpetual conflict. It is essential to learn which fights are worth fighting. View quoted note →

This is already a thing now. The public internet is so uninteresting. All the important information is hidden somewhere where it couldn’t be easily indexed and searched (videos, podcasts and so on). I have started to build my private services just for fun, but it turns out it will be necessary. The web 5.0 will be essentially the same as Web 1.0. Fragmented, siloed, inelegant and interoperable only in theory. But I guess that’s fine 🤷‍♀️ View quoted note →

I really enjoy these kinds of advice. “I’ve had sex with hundreds of vaguely humanoid beings and here’s what I have learned for you to enjoy it” is almost on par with “I’ve had 250 relationships and here are the red flags you should watch for.” It’s fun to read, but it is kind of terrifying that there are people who would genuinely take sex advice from a literal slut. After all, practice makes perfect, doesn’t it?

I’m listening to a podcast by Randall Carlson where he talks about his youth and I have noticed two things: 1. I think I have pretty active life, compared to most people around me, but now, when I’m in my 40s, I think I’ve lived and experienced about 10 % of what he did in his 20s only. 2. The life in the 60s and 70s and even 80s in the US was so incomparable to the life in Europe. And it was so much easier. You wanted to work? You worked. You wanted to live somewhere? You just set a downpayment and that was it. Buy a car? Here’s cash and here’s the keys. Why the US adopted the difficult life of Europe instead of Europe adopting the easier US life?

But that’s actually fine, isn’t it? If you use approved systems, you verify. If you don’t - you just don’t 🤷‍♀️ View quoted note →
