Up to $150K for Bitcoin would be a bore. Once it reaches 150K there will be euphoria. Then it will drop to 130K and everyone will complain. Then it will reach 200K and so on.

Think about what would happen if the word Satoshi was really replaced with Bitcoin. The media is anti-Bitcoin anyway and will use this to convince people that Bitcoins have collapsed to 0. They would even show graphs of how $100K is now worth less than 1 cent. Most people believe the media.

New users often struggle with Bitcoin’s terminology, and I think redefining Bitcoin to represent its tiniest fraction would confuse them even more with enormous numbers for everyday transactions. To “simplify” things, here’s my brilliant proposal for a new Bitcoin-only denomination system, starting from the smallest unit: 1 Bitcoin = 0.00000001 BTC = Bitcoin (BTC) 10 Bitcoins = 0.0000001 BTC = DecaBitcoin (daBTC) 1,000 Bitcoins = 0.00001 BTC = KiloBitcoin (kBTC) 10,000 Bitcoins = 0.0001 BTC = MyriaBitcoin (myBTC) 1,000,000 Bitcoins = 0.01 BTC = MegaBitcoin (MBTC) 10,000,000 Bitcoins = 0.1 BTC = DekaMegaBitcoin (DMBTC) 100,000,000 Bitcoins = 1 BTC = HectoMegaBitcoin (HMBTC) Of course, this is pure irony. In my opinion, the current system is perfectly fine and should stay as it is.

Yesterday the price of bitcoin was 103K, looking at it today it is 103K again. Good thing I got a notification from Kraken - I saw it executed a sale overnight at 106.7K.

Renaming satoshi to "bitcoin" is a blatant marketing gimmick with zero technical merit! Instead of helping people, it’ll leave them wondering if their "bitcoin" is worth cents or thousands of dollars. Bitcoin is a rock in the chaos of finance because of its stability and predictability—why undermine trust with pointless tricks? Swapping "satoshi" for "bitcoin" is like erasing Satoshi Nakamoto’s name from history—absurd and ungrateful! "Stacking sats" is the community’s battle cry; let it stay that way. If we want Bitcoin to feel accessible, let wallets display satoshis or dollars, not flip everything upside down. Bitcoin isn’t a brand to rebrand—it’s a protocol for freedom. Leave satoshi alone!
