This is the only type of content keeping me on Twitter. When this content arrives on Nostr, I will delete Twitter. Nostr has high-signal bitcoin and freedom tech notes. I’m excited to see other categories build out.

Question for more experienced bitcoiners about home ownership and bitcoin: What are the most important tradeoffs and considerations of selling a piece of your bitcoin stack to buy a house fully without debt? For instance, let’s say you sold $250k of bitcoin and bought a $250k house. I know there are fiat games to be played here where I could find the longest-term mortgage at the lowest possible rate and let fiat debasement work in my favor. I hate debt and fiat games, though. I have never owned a home but would love to have a place to start a family. @HODL @ODELL @preston

I read this as Argentines have previously used the dollar for working capital requirements (e.g., rent, groceries, etc.) and bitcoin for any long-term savings. However, since the peso is recently holding its own against the dollar, Argentines can just hold pesos for working capital requirements, bypass the dollar, and save in bitcoin. View quoted note →

I am on a quest to find the best olive oil a humble man can buy. I found this at a nearby Italian bakery. image

Sun maxing outside the neighborhood bakery. I am ready to buy a house outside the city. Have a private porch I can relax on. Not deal with people unless I want to. Quiet life. The question is will I sell my corn this cycle to make that happen? image

Another beautiful day. The spring break tourists have emerged, though, which has made the commute a bit longer. image

There is disability stigma that presumes disabled people cannot achieve high levels of career success or obtain positions of power. I feel this from time to time at my workplace, as very few disabled people (especially physically disabled) hold meaningful positions of power in big banks. This reality has been a chip on my shoulder since I was paralyzed in high school. I want to be the best not only for personal reasons but also because I want to prove to everyday people that disabled people can fucking kill it. That we aren’t helpless. That we don’t want your sympathy. That we can provide for our ourselves and our family. That we are fucking badass killers.

Missing Maine with my lady. This weekend was my first time in New England, and I was blown away. What a beautiful place. I’d trade NYC for Maine or New Hampshire if given the chance.

Good morning, friends. We left the city yesterday for Maine. I have never been to New England, so this trip is very exciting and interesting to me. We are headed to Portland this morning for some donuts fried in lard.
