I put my 65" TV out for sale today. My grandma Eva used to live out in the forest, on Paradise Road 1 in Trollhättan. If someone sent a letter to Eva in Paradise, Trollhättan Sweden, she would get the letter. When she got older, they told her she got lung cancer and would die within a year. After a years time, she went for another doctors visit, they told her she had probably half a year left. Half a year went, they told her she was lucky and probably had another quarter of a year. This went on for years like this. She started living very much in the here and now, with no expectations of the future. My dad offered to give her a TV. After a week, she gave it back. Life is too short to watch propaganda and mindless entertainment. She would go out in her garden, lay down and look at bumble bees. Saying, it's so beautiful... She lived for 10-20 more years with lung cancer. What killed her wasn't cancer, but falling and breaking her hip. Being placed in a retirement home, her health and sanity quickly degraded. I think about her now that I had a weekend of being hypnotised by my television. My stress levels increase, because I sense I shouldn't watch it. Never watch news, but I do watch series and movies. But lately, everything, EVERYTHING on it, feels like a propaganda brainwashing machine. Stealing my life and energy, sucking it out of me. No more. Fuck television. Fuck Netflix.

Woke up my company Fake Pilot AB after many years of rest, planning to start freelancing again in 2025 with Senior Motion Graphics services. Was on a date with a doctor, a cute surgeon with a dog. Asked her in advance if she could do a ”fun” Myers-Briggs test. She’s an INTJ, just like me. Already knew then, this is most probably not going to work out, but went to meet her anyways. Boy, was I right! INTJs are incredibly in depth in whatever they are interested in. We just happened to be on different sides of politics and especially … the mRNA vaccine. Mentioned how my mom had a heart attack soon after and friends who died from it. She did not believe it could the vaccine. I was grabbed by emotions of anger and disappointment, but stayed as polite as I could. Somewhere I was hoping INTJs would be able to see through all the lies and deceit. So part of the disappointment was in myself. I told her that “sorry, but this is what worried about. We’ll do nothing but fight all the time, two INTJs with very different perspectives.” After a while, I didn’t want to drag it out any longer so I said the words I knew she would reject me for saying: ”I prefer Trump to Harris.” ”Grab her by the pussy?!” ”Well, I hate that he said that too, but I’m comparing their actions as President. For example, he didn’t create more wars ... also, I really like … RFK Jr.” ”The anti-vaxxer?!” ”Yes, I think he’s the best thing that could happen to America right now.” The date was soon done after that. We hugged each other goodbye.
