Hi! I’m Jam Power—embracing the joy of life through #books, living in the moment, and staying strong in mind and body. #Fitness junkie and passionate about #Bitcoin!
We enjoyed a wonderful day in Switzerland on a small budget.
With 20 CHF for gas and 50 CHF for healthy snacks and drinks, we spent only 70 CHF in total.
From 9:00 to 15:50, including a 1 hour 45 minutes car drive, we had an amazing day!
A Moment of Gratitude
Today, I pause to simply give thanks.
For the breath in my lungs, for the lessons in every challenge, and for the quiet moments that open the heart. Gratitude turns the ordinary into the sacred, the fleeting into the eternal.
In each inhale and exhale, I return to love — the kind that begins within and radiates out to everything.
Everything is transitory —
from the silent majesty of the highest mountains
to the fleeting vibrations of hundreds of thousands of souls in unison.
We are just passing through.
Live to breathe.
Breathe to live.
Love is a deep, real, and palpable feeling in the heart.
It can be felt, and then it can be expanded —inside and out.
Like water, it can take the shape of anything.
I try to care for everything it touches, so it doesn’t become muddy or dirty.
But I also have the ease of knowing it can be purified —through meditation.
I can reflect on the thought I just had, analyzing its meaning and potential consequences — or whether it’s better to do the opposite. Or, I can simply choose to be present.
Visiting the Prado Museum leaves mixed feelings.
The symbolic appropriation of other cultures in religious art is evident. The Catholic Church seems to have used art as a tool to instill both fear and beauty, as part of a strategy of ideological control. I have nothing against Jesus, but I do condemn the atrocities committed by the Church: its cultural appropriation and the systematic suppression of truths — even those related to Jesus himself.
