New to nostr but totally feel at home. Love to learn, love testing and breaking things. Stupid questions incoming.
Dad & Plonka.
Rational Criticism is the way. Decentralised is the future. Freedom is the goal.
This bookDon't do what you don't have to do (yes be selfish).
Close the loops you've opened (do that job, pay that bill, learn that thing).
Get creative (a 1000 times over if necessary).
Hey ##nostr #plebchain - somebody please school me on relays. Specifically:
• Why do they drop in and out so often?
• Why would I see a reaction to a post (e.g. replies, likes), but not recieve them (or they come through hrs later)?
• Which are considered the best relays?
• Is there any good practices to improve performance?
This is not shitting on this place or the tech, I love it here. I'm keen to understand the architecture and improve my experience. Cheers.
Hey @AQSTR where do you fetch 'Eligibility Requirements' from? Mine are all wrong. I want to take part in tasks but can't cos of false numbers.
A chilly, mildly spooky drive home tonight. I love pulling over for 5 mins, to feel the emptiness, freedom, stillness and to look at the stars.

Hey @YakiHonne - how come my dashboard and wallet show 0 zaps sent, when ive definitely zapped (profiles and notes), also the 'points system' shows I have.
I appreciate this might not be a client based issue, but you guys were brill with my previous query, so you're my go to now 🙏✌️
Newb take: the best way to learn about crypto(both), blockchains, privacy, and web3 in general is to jump in and learn on the job. Ideally, with small amounts of money, careful with your ID and what you connect to. But, make mistakes, inefficiencies, go down the wrong path, play, have fun. The community will help and in a fee month what seemed unfathomable will become everyday, the next step.
I'm really enjoying the 'space' and community, making mistakes and the learning. Then repeat. Fuck knows where/what I'll be doing in a year.
Peace.
I think I've just* figured out that my brain works in serial and I'm loathed to stress it any more by pretending I'm a go 'getting multi-tasker'.
Time to reinstate myself as a slow, one-job-at-a-time kinda guy.
(*probably closer to 7 yrs it's taken and some serious introspection - but that's not as catchy)
Had a lovely day out on the bikes with the little dude. No pics. Seen a squirrel. Had some cake. Nee stress. Just giggles.
Positivity. Simplicity. Creativity.
that is where its at.
