When you were shy, ridden with social anxiety, self doubt, low self-esteem and low confidence… …comments like this are actually massive compliments as opposed to the intended digs. I used making videos online to deal with my issues. I will advocate it to the end of my days: Start making videos online to boost your selfesteem, confidence and communication skills. I will return to promoting the Minotaur Video Exemplar programme because it will legit change lives. For now however, it’s about the Batley Entrepreneurship Club Official Network Launch event. Grab your tickets here:

And a century has been hit! Always good getting to the 100 mark… …but we’ve whizzed past that and currently stand at 117 registrations 💥💥 With both special guest speakers now confirmed, the event went up a notch. And the people are responding. By my estimates, there are still another 25-35 that have verbally confirmed but not booked yet. Even they’re cutting it short and soon gon’ be on the you snooze you lose list. Don’t let that be you, get registered for what’s to be a memorable evenin’ in Batlehhh: image

“You can’t be successful staying legit” I heard this phrase in various ways early on in my legal career. I didn’t like it then. I don’t like it now. It’s one of the reasons why I’ve been shouting about having more positive role models out there. Building a brand while staying true to your roots, and not compromising your values therefore is an important topic. Which is why I’m thrilled to have Nasar Hussain as our second guest speaker. The Batley Entrepreneurship Club Official Network Launch event is shaping up quite nicely. We’re now entering FOMO week, so get your tickets asap:

If you missed the speaker announcements yesterday, fear not as the video version is now here too 😁 We’ve been telling y’all Batley has some incredible things often overlooked. That’s why it’s so cool to have Omar Bhamji speaking on a stage in Batley to share one of those amazing stories. Over the past 4-6 months I’ve often been told we do not have enough (if any) events like this locally. We’re trying to change that, and as of this video being recorded, 95 of you have answered the call by registering. It will not be long now before spaces are gone, so if you plan on being part of this historic night, make sure you get your tickets. Register here for this exclusive Batley Entrepreneurship Club event:

Super excited to also announce the second special guest speaker for the Official Launch of the Batley Entrepreneurship Club Network event: Nasar Hussain. You often hear about work-life balance, and how you have to sacrifice important things to make it as an entrepreneur. So much so that many end up falling behind on other aspects of their lives, whether that be faith, family or fitness. Quite a few end up undertaking shady practices. Nasar Hussain however, has managed to build a business from Bradford 19 years ago without losing sight of faith, family or fitness. Twenty five years in tech, driven by hard work & local values - building the future whilst staying true to his roots... ...makes him a shining example for the next generation of entrepreneurs. 🎟️ To secure your spot before we hit capacity register here: image

It’s with great pleasure to announce the first special guest speaker for the Official Launch of the Batley Entrepreneurship Club Network event. For a long time, I’ve been saying Batley has hidden gems; amazing people doing incredible things quietly behind the scenes. Omar Bhamji, and the CK Foods journey, is one of those gems. Super excited to have Omar speaking on stage… In BATLEHHH itself! Sharing insights on how a family business from a small town grew into a $100 million enterprise. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss. 🎟️ Reserve your seat before we hit capacity: Final week approaching, tickets will go! image

Ideas mean nothing. Execution is everything. Remember these 2?! They volunteered to help out at the last event. We then got together for a session to discuss their ideas. What I love about these 2 is that they went away, thought about the ideas they discussed and then executed on one. So MANY people have told me about their ideas in the last few months; not many have gone on to do something about it. But not these two…they’re documenting their journey from logo/brand setup, how they’re putting this altogether, and how they’re getting along building this. Even better, they’ve got themselves jobs at the same time… …this is what you call taking responsibility. Help them out. Give them a follow. Buy a fragrance. And come give them some support at the next event where they’ll be: 📆 Friday 24 October 2025 — 6.30pm 📍 Batley Town Hall 🎟️

History. Culture. Heritage. Batley Town Hall has all of these. I have many childhood memories of weddings happening at this place… …you know the good ol’ days where there’d just be a table with a sheet of paper and a conveyor belt of food would get splashed. Them “tikkehh” (chicken tika botis) back then were something else. The simplicity of it all meant you actually connected with people, the community just felt tighter These days the weddings are something you’d see in MTV-cribzzz (don’t know if that still exists?! 😂) Whilst I can’t promise good ol’ day wedding vibes; I can promise an electric evening of stories, connections and networking…a tightening of community. And that’s why you should be there. This is Batlehhh, where things happen. And it’s happening on: 📆 Friday 24 October 2025 — 6.30pm 📍 Batley Town Hall 🎟️ image

The iconic Batley Town Hall has been secured as the venue for the Official Batley Entrepreneurship Club Network Launch Event Some of you might remember last time we couldn’t get the Town Hall because 3 months notice was needed. This time we got it even with 3 weeks notice - branding and local rep helps 😁 This is the stage where it starts to get exciting and stressful at the same time - just over 2 weeks to go.   📆 Friday 24 October 2025 - 6.30pm 📍 Batley Town Hall Further announcements still to come.   Register here to secure your spot before we hit the you lose you snooze stage:

Naaaah, this can’t be right, they dint spend that much on a logo design surely?! There will be other elements involved but that is still a staggering figure. If that logo is half a mil, then the Batley Entrepreneurship Club logo is half a tril 😂 Here’s a free mini course on how I created a half a tril logo: - Got iconic image of Batley from Google - Added it to ChatGPT asking for a variation of it - Took ChatGPTs design to Canva - Changed the border and colours - Added font and text Voila, done and dusted. On a more seeeryus note, everyone now has access to tools that will allow them to create so much more. I don’t like the term “solopreneur” - but 1-person businesses can legit function like small teams. I expect to see the rise of many more 1-person businesses in the next decade. These may not necessarily be 7 figure businesses. But it will be the skilled employee fed up of the shackles of a typical 9-5 that decides to do their own thing making £35k-£100k on their own timeline. Where companies need to adapt is to accommodate more of these self-employed roles under their banner/brand - or risk losing their best workers and try to make it work with mediocre ones. BEC is being developed to accommodate this transition. Anyhow, to be part of a half-a-tril event, make sure you come down to the official Batley Entrepreneurship Club Network Launch Event. Happening on Friday 24 October. Go to the following link, and click on Register to secure your spot:

Saw someone say they made money on NOSTR with their podcast straight away, despite not on the traditional platforms. Still learning to configure NOSTR, I’ve been using it more like Twitter of old. But I take it, this is more of a mix of everything…ie Twitter, TikTok, Insta, YouTube etc Basically you can use it how you want . But from an audience perspective, are people on here that much they’d watch entire podcasts here? How are most of you treating NOSTR compared to the normal SM platforms?

Kids had a fantastic day yesterday at the Mental Health & Confidence Workshop in Batley yesterday. Huge shout out to Coach Bilal who through his new Goalacticos initiative put this together at the Purge Boxing Academy. Everyone had a great time and this was a huge success. Inspiration coming from rugby player turned boxer Brandon Pickup, and future boxing superstar (who’s already making waves as a champion at 14) Azaan Hussain. Excellent support from the rest of the team, including Jerome Wilson. With special guest appearance from TikTok/Insta stars Shab & Eisa who equally are doing phenomenal work for the Down Syndrome community. I’ve been struggling to get my 6 year old passionate about anything… …he hasn’t put his (older brother’s) boxing gloves down since the workshop. The individual attention he got from Brandon and Azaan in particular did wonders for his confidence and happiness, as did knocking me out in the ring 😂 Class from all the team and volunteers involved. 👏🏽

Batley Entrepreneurship Club is now publicly funded!   After months of work, publicly and privately, this is a great milestone for the Club further cementing its credibility as an emerging regional grass-roots movement.   Going through any funding round, private or public, comes with many hurdles and challenges - to be one of the few selected from many is a huge achievement.   Big shout out to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority for this grant and trust placed into BEC. Will share more details in future content.   Big 12 months ahead to put in the work required to fulfil the milestones of this grant funding.   We start with a celebration:   🚀 The Official Launch: Batley Entrepreneurship Club (BEC) Network Event 🚀   📆 Friday 24 October 2025 - 6.30pm 📍 Venue tbc (but in Batley of course)   Register here to secure your spot:     P.S. If you want to be involved in this event in different capacities, send me a message. In particular, we're looking for sponsors - given how well they last event turned out, expecting something similar this time too. image

NOSTR is the only way forward. All of these social media platforms have been compromised. Protocols like NOSTR are about to rocket. As are in person real life communities. Posting for the sake of posting and going viral is over. Post for the few, build stronger relationships. image
