What a pleasure this was! Curtis Mayfield playing Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues".
Have a great evening!

My lunch coffee today came with Nina Simone's "Ain't Got No, I Got Life". What a pleasure! (London, 1968)
For that part of my heart that loves Italy, we start this week with Luciano Pavarotti and Lucio Dalla singing "Caruso".
Dayum! She moves like she's preparing for a role in The Matrix. 👏👏👏
One of those moments when you wish you had been in that specific place at that specific time. The Alcázar Palace in Sevilla, Spain, with John Williams playing Isaac Albéniz's "Asturias".
A few moments from Cirque du Soleil's "ECHO"
Since I'm back in Austria, I should promote more events. On September 10, at the Karlskirche (St. Charles' Church) in Vienna, there's the Open Church Sound from 16:00 to 23:00, with the Holly Mass from 18:00 to 19:00.
A history page from 1962, Paris, with
David Oistrakh (violin) and Frida Bauer (piano) playing Debussy's "Claire de Lune". Now I need a cigarette...
For today's lunch break, I propose to you an "un-classic" street performance from ZAZ with "Je veux". (You can skip the first 40 seconds.)
A calm start today with Amstel Quartet putting Saxophones in Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings ".
About five weeks ago, I started a new account dedicated to art that I encounter in my day-to-day life, with the intention of posting at least once a day. I had a lot of issues because many clients weren't able to show it, but earlier today I made a new npub that seems fine. By Monday, everything should be in the new place, and I'll continue posting. Sculpture, architecture, and many more. I even started using #xmr for the more private folks. So take a peek! 🥂

I haven't posted opera in some time, so I say goodbye with Nadine Sierra singing “Addio, del passato” from Verdi's "La Traviata". (Metropolitan Opera, 2022/23 season)
Coffee break with Hilary Hahn playing the third movement of Brahms' Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77.
Have a great day!
My only post for today, because my daughter has some friends over, and it seems that all of a sudden I'm a personal butler. 😂 And all they listen to is ABBA and old Italian music.
Nini Rosso's "Il Silenzio"
Sometimes I post music from my younger years' drinking playlist, with no connection to classical music. For tonight, Bro Safari's "Scumbag". This was fun, especially with the morning hangovers. 😂
For today's lunch, I recommend Paganini's Rondo from Violin Concerto No. 4 in D minor, with Uto Ughi and Filarmonica di Roma. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper Espresso to make it better, only some cold coffee from this morning.
This morning, we kick-start the day with Jeff Beck playing Puccini's"Nessun Dorma" from Turandot. (Crossroads Blues Festival, 2010)
I wish you all a good night with Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, but Jazz. Played and arranged by Beatrice Nichols.
For today's noon coffee, André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra performing "O Fortuna" from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". Although it was recorded at the Amsterdam Arena, Rieu built a replica of Vienna's Schönbrunn Palace as a stage. 🥂
We begin the week in style with Sergei Krylov playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565. Although it was written for organ, the violin reveals whole new layers. 👏
Have a great day!
