A short archive video with Bela Bartók playing his own "Allegro barbaro". This is the only video of him playing the piano. Filmed in New York, 26 September 1942, audio recorded by Bartók in Budapest on 5 November 1929.

It's all I have for today. I'm travelling, and the weather in Verona is bad, so I only have two average pictures of the Arena, which marks 2000 years of existence in 2026. View quoted note →

And this should be the last one. I tried different formats with the new Amethyst to see which ones are suitable for most apps. Just in case somebody is wondering, I listen to everything that I uploaded, and I enjoy it too. 😂 If you have any suggestions, upload them as a reply to this post (no links). I should organise a contest, some while ago we had a daily one for the most zapped video with a prize of 2100 Sats if I remember correctly. Would anyone be interested?

I don't know how popular Takuya Nakamura is, so I take a small detour to introduce him to you. He blends trumpet with jazz, as well as drum & bass and techno. I uploaded a short "presentation" video and added the YouTube link for the whole performance. Have an excellent day!

Have you ever wondered how "Bohemian Rhapsody" would sound if Liszt wrote it? If yes, Peter Bence has the answer. Have fun!

Always a good choice to start the day, the equivalent of an extra coffee, Vittorio Monti's Czardas. Clara Cernat, violin, and Thierry Huillet, piano. Have an excellent day!

Today I say goodbye with a magnificent Gil Shaham performance of Pablo de Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy together with the Berlin Philharmonic and Claudio Abbado. Beyond impressive. 👏👏👏 Have a fine evening!
