Tested my multi sig this evening. I use sparrow, with three diff devices. Trezor worked fine. Ledger would not sign with sparrow, kept getting error. ColdcardQ wouldn't recognize the psbt file on sd card. (Tried two diff cards) ColdcardQ qr code could not be read by computer camera. Ended up taking video with my phone or coldcard qr code, then scanning it Worked, but I'm considering doing unchained or anchorwatch because of these concerns. Sometimes I wonder if id be better just single sig on coldcard q w passphrase

Had a good year. Stacked plenty of BTC. Tryna decide how much I wanna fund my btc IRA or etf IRA, vs just paying the taxes and continuing to fund my self custody. Real decisions

I see these snap benefits gatherings in my city, and I think... I just spent the day demolishing a bathroom, pretty nasty dirty work, to rebuild it this week with a new tub shower tile surround. Wish I had time to go down there and stand around

Switched to crowd health. Anybody know if I can still contribute to my HSA for a tax deduction? Guessing no

The most recent Michael malice interview with Tim pool has me thinking.... Tim pool is worth listening to. I listened here n there 4-5 years ago. I enjoyed him, but he seemed a bit doomy n gloomy. I'm beginning to think he just looks further ahead than many commenters. I wonder if he's right about the next 5-10 years. Gonna start listening a bit again.

Got a dog in 2020. He loved me. Still loves me, but I started dating this girl in 2022. Got married in 2024. He loves her more now. Literally will sit with her way more than he wants to sit with me. He still respects me more than her. When I'm not home for the night, my wife says he's on edge. But I sorta lost him to her. Just random thoughts

Something with my old galaxy s20 messed up with the camera... So I just bought a "new" used one on eBay. And people say phones are so expensive now.... I only paid like $170. Definitely something I would have spent more on and upgraded without Bitcoin

A slightly breakthrough moment with the wife. She's not against it, she just trusts me on finances and big picture stuff...and given my obsession, she has no pallet for the topic. I explained to her how two years ago, a very short time ago, we could have bought my house for 8 or 9 Bitcoin. Today we could buy my house for ~2.5 Bitcoin. Her: "wow that is crazy" Me: now you know why I don't wanna buy a new house anytime soon. The prices keep dropping.

Eofer planted tulip bulbs around our two front yard trees last fall. Deer polished em all off the last to nights. I told her we can cut a bunch of fur hair from the dog and sprinkle it. Didn't do it on time tho ๐Ÿ˜”

Don't ever get lasik. I know a guy, 40ish, got it done. He says he can see fine, but it's different. He gets headaches sometimes, and he suspects it's from the LASIK. He says it's hard to describe, but he sees differently than before. Mind you, his surgery was successful. But he told me he wouldn't do it again. As he said, takes 5 seconds every morning to put in contacts. Or just wear glasses. He told me he's talked to quite a few ppl with similar issues. Also my wife's ex bf got it and he's going was blind from it. Don't get lasik.

@Marty Bent most recent @TFTC podcast #603 with Dr Mary Bowden. 99% of doctors are employees 77% employed by hospitals (my note, increasingly behemouth monopolies nationwide) 20% by employed by insurance companies or private equity firms 2% employes by government That leaves 1% independent and "3rd party free" (not contracted w insurance co hospitals or government)

I know someone who works for Robin Hood. When I mentioned there are companies that will help securely store your Bitcoin for an annual fee... "Well that doesn't really make any sense, it doesn't cost anything to keep Bitcoin" This is an employee who makes good money at Robinhood. We're so early

If you have weights at home, it only takes about 10 minutes to get a decent lift in. Do it every couple days, and you're in the top 1% of Americans.

@preston and @Matthew Mezinskis , I stopped listening mid way thru this one and went to my computer to see the charts. I slowed down the video to 0.75x for this chart, and it blew me away. For every 12.7% increase in days in the life of Bitcoin, the adoption doubles and the price doubles. Zapping you both. Great podcast to really slow down, listen to, and watch image

Winter doldrums with the pregnant wife. Bitcoin has made me even more frugal than I used to be. Looking at a quick long-weekend to Florida, and I'm like...dang, $2k. It's not like I don't have it. I'm just tryna stack sats right now...and save for baby. Sheesh. I thought I was cheap before.

I wish Jonathan Bier were on here so I could zap him some sats. After owning *some* Bitcoin for years, I read his book. and my first Bitcoin book, The Blocksize War. It's an amazing book. Nostr users may not think this, but the average person wouldn't believe a book about the war between big block bitcoiners and small blockers could possibly be a page-turner with great story lines. But it is a fast fun read, and it ultimately orange pilled me.
