A shower thought - maybe everyone needs to read some Vonnegut right now. TLDR - antiwar, fiction, yet unsettling I've read Slaughterhouse-Five multiple times and Cats Cradle had me at a dead stop for reading fiction for the last 6 months. Somehow nonfiction is less disturbing than fiction on occasion.

We had a wild day. Basically beat Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors but at least we can settle down and play a Halo mission together like the old days. 1. Smashed my finger in the gate letting the dogs out this morning 2. Dog ran away/husband left work to help search (found him about 40 mins later) this was due to a storm blowing our broken gate open last night (hurricane Helene did us dirty and broke the latch) 3. Husband's truck broke down otw to the movie theater after finding lost dog (we were 30mins late to Shrek, but both kids had a great time) 4. Eldest child snuck out the house to swing on the swing set. But at the end of the day, we have each other and laughed through the chaos. I love @OceanSlim so much. ♥️

Week 3 of homeschool/SAHM and this is the life. If you think you'd rather work than be at home with your babies, you're insane. Idk how what these 3rd wave feminists were thinking but getting married, staying home, & having babies is the good life. ♥️ P.S. I've worked since I was 15 and I'm now 31. I never thought I'd have the luxury of living this life but @OceanSlim & Bitcoin made this possible.

For whatever reason, I had never watched 50 First Dates before. I've always enjoyed Adam Sandler movies but never watched that one. Nevertheless, @OceanSlim And I were tearing up (I was basically sobbing). I'm super late, but I definitely recommend for a date night.
