Gearing up for homeschooling. 🫶 I said goodbye to my 7 year career in public education and the kids will follow suit with daycare. Who's ready for adventure?

One day @OceanSlim gave me a toolkit. This was before we were even engaged. This toolkit is a symbol of our foundation. He knew he wanted to build a life with me so he gave me the the tools to do so. 🩷

Now that I'm no longer teaching. But in all seriousness - time to raise my family 💞

Today is my last day as a pubic school teacher 🎉

Sometimes I just wonder how influencers spend time setting up their camera to film content when they could just be living in the moment instead. I would feel so weird setting up a whole tripod at the gas pump or grocery store.

This sums up exactly "why" I want to quit teaching to homeschool my children. They only get 1 mother. A school can hire teachers year after year, but childhood is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

My 4 year old asked for water at bedtime. I asked her to use a complete sentence. Her response "May I have some water please?" I can't get 14-17yo to write a complete sentence, let alone write or spell their name legibly. Manners? Those are few and far in-between. My 4 year old is running circles around them.

I've had multiple teachers scoff at the fact the I'm retiring. Yes, I can retire at 31. @OceanSlim I'm endlessly thankful for you.

I don't understand recording your daily life with your kids, over consumption, in debt, etc. If I hear "must have" or "I'm obsessed with this product" again I might puke. Add "let's restock my brand new car" Homegirl have you heard of a depreciating asset? We have 5 vehicles and they are all paid off. This is how I can retire at 31... Work smarter not harder. No one cares about brands/how new something is. Thank God for @OceanSlim. ❤️

Another weekend project. Started this door sign with my girlfriends Friday night. I just need to add some black details to the border & letters. I'm not super confident in my bow making skills so I may ask another friend for that. 😉❤️🤍💙 See the 2nd pic for inspo.

Grabbed this kids potting bench at Aldi. After 2 hours, I'm done staining & sealing. Can't wait for my kids to make mud pies. ❤️

I certainly won't miss active shooter drills... I always carry when my babies are with me, but I can't on school property.
