I was confronted by someone yesterday who was upset about the ICE raids. He seemed to assume I was supporting them. I would never back myself into a position where I'm defending a government agency, but I told him there is a reason borders and immigration policy exist. He asked me how far I would go to defend my space. Without hesitation I told him I would kill for it. He wasn't expecting that. I think it was a productive conversation for both of us.

Asking (or guilt tripping) individuals to increase their average zap size is very unlikely going to improve 4v4. That is like a producer saying, "Why won't you voluntarily pay me more for my product?" The answer is because people don't value the offering that much. Case closed. Having more users who zap normal amounts will probably be the way forward for V4V, so the question becomes, "How do we continue to grow nostr adoption?" Which is a more productive discussion in my opinion.
