Bitcoin is already, by far, the best privacy coin. What is left now is to teach the history of how we got here - recognizing pioneers like Wasabi and Samurai - and learn from it. Even more importantly - spread the knowledge on how to use the right tools: eCash, Boltz swaps, RoboSats, solid wallets like AquaBitcoin & BullBitcoin, and merchant platforms such as @BTCPay Server. It's critical that most Bitcoin stays no-KYC. Anything less than a supermajority pushes us toward a dystopian future - one already previewed in Sweden, where anyone can legally look up your home address and Bitcoin holdings in a public, government-mandated registry. I don't think anyone sane wants to live in the chaos of that type of world. See you today at Lugano PlanB P2P Stage, 3 PM where I'll be talking with SethForPrivacy, @Giacomo Zucco, @Max and @ODELL about one of my favorite topics. No privacy, no freedom βœŠπŸ—½ image

I'm extremely bullish on @BTCPay Server plugins βœŠπŸ—½ Every week, there is a new round of fresh features and improvements - all without the core team needing to be directly involved. That's the real beauty of FOSS - creating an environment where people can thrive individually and build on top of each other's work without blockers. Kudos to @kukks for creating the plugin system in @BTCPay Server, and to @thgO.O & Tobses for all the recent improvements. Can't wait to see what other plugins are coming next and how builders will keep pushing Bitcoin forward with BTCPay.

My 1-year GitHub contribution streak is complete. Thanks to all of you who helped make it happen βœŠπŸ—½ Doing this again for 365 days made me realize a few things. The biggest of all - AI has won. If you're a developer, you have to start integrating AI into your workflow. Google's Gemini 2.5 release in June marked the moment when AI-generated code became better than what an average dev produces. With the recent releases of OpenAI 5 (medium reasoning) and especially Claude 4.5 - it's game over. These models are easily in the top 10 percentiles. And then - if you're not having fun coding right now, you're doing it wrong. It's such a special time to be a developer and play with the available tools. It's all about who you're coding with and what you're building. There's so much demand for quality software that if you don't wake up every day motivated to work, just switch projects. There are plenty of great opportunities for good devs (especially in FOSS!), and more will keep coming as software continues eating the world. image
