My barber 💈 was working for a salon in san Benito for 7 years. The salon wouldn’t take btc but I used to pay him sats and he would pay the salon fiat for me. He has now set up his own shop in Escalon and accepts btc. He does great fades and uses straight razor too ( not all barbers have that skill).

Always choose to support small family run independents over corporations, especially if they accept btc. They have only been on @BTC Map for 2 weeks and Josie said she’s already had a few people who found them using the app. She uses @npub1qkdm...h9tf to accept btc👍. It was great to chat about 🤡 🌎 and give Holly lots of belly rubs. Our 🐶 also supports btc and runs a node in El Salvador 🇸🇻 and will love the treats!

We just went on a cruise from Iceland to Belgium. Found the only café in Belgium that accepted sats on @BTC Map . Living in El Salvador , we fully expected them NOT to accept btc because “ the machine is not working “ or “ the btc person is not here today”, but to our surprise , we talked to 3 staff and they all said they accepted btc!! We also expected that no hardly anyone has ever paid in btc but not the case. Listen to the what the server staff says. As for the food, it was really amazing! If it was not good , I would definitely say so btc or not. The lineup outside also is a testament. Awesome experience at THAT’s TOAST in Bruges , Belgium! LFG!!

I met my 🇮🇹 neighbor at our condo pool 7-8 months ago somehow ₿ came up😜. A couple of months later , encouraged him to attend a live introduction to ₿ class. Now both he and his brother buy P2P from a local merchant I knew who needed to buy fiat to pay his suppliers. Last night , they attended their first ₿ meetup and made their very first ₿ txn using @npub13ljn...cfhw . Look how excited these brothers are !😂 AND they brought a friend who is now curious about ₿. They all received a copy of @MyfirstBitcoin_ diploma book👏 👏 👏 for @pinerilli y su hermano! Eventually I will introduce them to Nostr⚡️ @MyfirstBitcoin

All this was done in 1.5 years. Before this , I had only ever used iPhones and had near zero technical knowledge. I still have no technical knowledge but I managed to set all these things up on my own by following instructions online. To this day, I still don’t even know how to make a spreadsheet or use Word. I’m mid 50s so no spring 🐔 If I can do it, anyone can. A lot of it was feeling intimidated. If anyone needs help, let me know and I can point you in the right direction. I even wiped out an old MacBook Air and installed Linux Mint but now I realize I have no idea how to do anything on Linux. I just need to learn how to run sparrow on it. Also on the list is to try to figure out Liliana wallet.
