At conferences and meetups I often hear: “I’m following and enjoying your work”
thanks why don’t you post about yours?
“I have a job that I’m afraid to post about my bitcoin work”
So time is coming near for you to start posting.
“I’m afraid I’ll lose my job”
I believe you should change jobs.
Often had this one ☝🏽

One of the best days of our lives turned into one of the shittiest. We were enjoying the mountains and my mom got serious heart problems at high altitude. It was sad because this marked the last time my parents were high up with us in the mountains.
After this we decided to take a trip down. During this trip my wife @Sanne snapped her bottom leg straight through the middle. Both bones have been put together with steel again, but the question is what she will be able to do again in the future with her leg…

What is your passphrase best practice?
Was asked about the following setup:
@Foundation Passport, uses encrypted backup with SDcard. Access code to unencrypt is in physical distributed location that would take significant time to travel. SDCard only is a risk as it can burn/break etc.
So the client uses a physical steel backup with 24 words, again a different location. On a different location holds the passphrase on steel.
How do you rate this setup? There’s redundancy in both the SD Card, Steel seed phrase and steel passphrase. Do you think a double backup for the passphrase is required?
Would love more input on best practices around this. @QnA @Bart Mol

2024 will become the restart of the Satoshi quote. We’ve been working hard towards this and we’re going to “bring the bank home”.
On the video you see the 12kw (we could fluctuate between couple hundred watt and 18KW) heater where we heated the @Bitcoin Magazine Amsterdam conference. We created these QRs to our website to make sure we would distribute more hash. The entire rack consisted of 12 silent s9s that were distributed as home heaters and excess electricity consumers across the Netherlands after the conference concluded.

Received a special request for the Dutch version of the fiat standard today. Directly sent it out for @Saifedean Ammous. Off course some fitting stickers come with it 😉

The miners in this conference probably didn’t notice. But this timechain with transaction blocks was right in front of our hotel @Bitcoin Atlantis. Every morning we had breakfast outside. Our 10 month old Otis Sha (anagram for satoshi) was exploring the area. The enormous space he had gave big smiles, which unfortunately we had to cover because of privacy reasons. He might make his picture public when he’s old enough to decide for himself to spread his face on the internet.
I was hoping to meet one person during this conference which I didn’t know if I was going to. That was @Gigi and the strange thing is, we met. Without an appointment, just at a lunch place where @hodlonaut BIP110 was waiting for him. There were a thousand things I wanted to discuss but the double hug was enough.
Meeting so many great people in such a short time span takes it toll. I knew the rollercoaster ride would be wild, but not this wild.
Thanks @André Loja for your personal time and making this conference reality. I believe we’re at the start of something bigger here.

Love how my wife and son see the world of @Bitcoin Atlantis in a totally different perspective.
