Vero is learning to read. In the State of Connecticut if a child is 5 after Sept. 1, they are not allowed to be in kindergarten. Vero was born Oct. 4. She misses Kindergarten by a month and a few days. They are putting my child in preschool instead of kindergarten. It sucks. Anyway, my goal is to teach her to read before she enters kindergarten. F the system! She will know the most words and will be able to read before she enters school. She's at 110 books for the year, after this batch.
