1.3 million people applied to the London Marathon. That's a lot of people for one event. The running community keeps growing. <3 It's beautiful!

During the Boston Marathon the other day, my daughter got inspired to run the kids race. She calls the kids race, the kids marathon. She goes, "Mom, I want to run the kids marathon." I say, "Ok but you have to run and train for your race. " She said, "ok. Do I get a marathon medal?" I say, "Yes when you finish. The goal today is to see where she is because I don't want to put my 4 year in a race she cannot do. I have one race coming up and she could easily join the kids race. She bikes often. I never want to force her into a sport. My goal as a parent is to only keep her active. My father was my biggest inspiration while growing up. He played soccer. I am quite nervous, he might show up at the NYC marathon. He's never seen me run. My daughter following my steps just reminds me of when I was a little kid and I wanted to be as active as my father. My father never lived his dreams of being a professional athlete. :/ Yet, I have a shot at another major. Discipline discipline discipline That's the only thing that matters in life. Too much is at stake and time is only disappearing. An invisible clock that won't stop moving but only draws the deadline closer.

So, I just received an email that the... The 4th Women in Quantitative Finance Americas Conference is happening in NYC! I am so pumped. I feel extremely lucky that it's happening in NYC. If you are around, lets attend together. I finally get to meet all the wonderful women from this organization in person. The tickets to this conference are always 400 euros or higher. They are charging 40 euros at Columbia. This is the best news today. They also have a talk about blockchain in AI, which I love. <3

The Devil wears Prada 2 came out this weekend and today is the Met Gala. It was timed perfectly, no coincidence here. A movie about Anna Wintour. She popped into the Vogue magazine with Meryl Streep. Anna Wintour hosts the Met Gala. Woman just pulled the biggest PR move this weekend. Anna Wintour is winning at all angles right now.

Golden Tempo won having a 23-1 odds. The story is pretty incredible. In 152 years of the sport, it was the first horse to be trained by a woman, Cherie Devaux. The person riding Golden Tempo was Jose Ortiz.

Week 25, Long run completed. 14 miles done. Back on track and more focused now than ever. My real training starts at Week 20. It's approaching fast.

I was safe in Las Vegas with no sign of Roman numerals... I've ran the same beach for decades. Never once have I seen roman numerals there and now, I've found one. It's hard to unsee it. Here's a picture of where it lives. #romannumeralsmystery #eastcoast

Bitcoin's most abundant layer is the data, the public ledger. I rarely saw anything about this topic during the conference. Nothing about on-chain analysis. I saw Deloitte and KPMG present but I was surprised none were on stage talking about the public ledger and the projects they are tackling. I heard from an individual, that there's a company trying to create the next QuickBooks in Bitcoin, see that's the stuff I am interesting in. Covalent was not present. Is it a taboo to talk about the public ledger? I'll keep talking. We have a public ledger. Traditional accounting will never be the same because of it.

Incredibly grateful, I had the chance to attend the Bitcoin conference. Thank you to the organizers! A memorable experience.
