Soft parenting creates fragile children. Fragile children turn into weak adults that need legal medication and can't cope with stress without therapy. They're now more open to outside influence and life altering decisions influenced by those without their best interests in mind. You are doing them a massive disservice trying to protect their little feelings like that. Stop giving them excuses to be weak. Raise them hard, raise them right.

I stopped to talk to a homeless guy the other day. His children were murdered and he had a mental breakdown, got addicted to cope, and ended up on the streets. His advice resonated with me. He said always tell your family WHY you love them. Its not enough to say I love you, that's cheap and easy. Tell them WHY, every day.

Still green but ive easily got at least 20 more on this shishito pepper plant already so I snipped a couple early ones for now. Looking forward to orange/red peppers which should be slightly sweeter and smokier.
