I'm jumping on the built in signer bandwagon with my Linux Client. I am going to offer the option for the built in or use an external one.

So, how is everyone handling private DMs? We have nip-04 and 44. Do you default to other one? or do you have a way to figure out which one a recipient can accept? I would say default to 44, but 04 seems much more common. I am thinking of having a dialogue or check boxes on dm compose selecting which method you want to use each message.. sounds like way to much..lol #nostrdev

After battling GTK core dumping constantly for most of yesterday, I have decided to give it a big NO! for my Linux Nostr client and I'm going to go with iced instead. Its the best looking of all the pure rust UI toolkits. Bonus, it's what Cosmic uses, which is already my desktop. #nostr #linux
