Would y'all prefer the Pleb Client for #Linux be released now all buggy and needing work so you can play with it? Or wait till it's solid? I would still recommend using
to keep up with the updates, once out it could get a couple a day...lol

I'm trying to figure out how to get feedback/feature requests for my various projects. I am thinking of adding a portal to my site
where people can choose projects and leave requests, bugs, etc... maybe they login with #nostr then when I get to whatever they say, whether I do it or not I could directly notify if its completed, denied, etc...

So the Pleb Client for #Linux has the following working so far:
Posts
Notifications
Zaps
DM and private DM
Built in signer
Setting relays
Replies
Needed:
Profile pages
Long form feed
WOT
Once I have the needed done, sometime today I will put it out to play with, it will be usable at least.
I'm jumping on the built in signer bandwagon with my Linux Client. I am going to offer the option for the built in or use an external one.
You guys have become my get the word out resource. As always enjoy the show and want people to share htpps:://relay.pleb.one and give it a go as a relay. Can't test without users, cheers!

Where I'm at so far...

So, how is everyone handling private DMs? We have nip-04 and 44. Do you default to other one? or do you have a way to figure out which one a recipient can accept?
I would say default to 44, but 04 seems much more common. I am thinking of having a dialogue or check boxes on dm compose selecting which method you want to use each message..
sounds like way to much..lol

After battling GTK core dumping constantly for most of yesterday, I have decided to give it a big NO! for my Linux Nostr client and I'm going to go with iced instead. Its the best looking of all the pure rust UI toolkits. Bonus, it's what Cosmic uses, which is already my desktop.

I still need to test the invite request for the pleb one relay, it uses Nostr DMs to communicate everything, if you wouldn't mind giving it a go so I can verify it works?
