Good night nostr, i enjoyed the day, nothing too strenuous as far as work. We mostly took it easy since its sunday, but i have a busy week ahead, i think i'm up for it. I just feel happy and grateful for everything in my life. The world is crazy at times, but i can spend time in my yard, walk on our trails with Lucy, and watch the chickens go about their day. This is wealth, this is real. It is my armour that protects my soul. Yall have a good evening friends. #homesteading

So lately i've been enjoying cabbage salads instead of regular greens or lettuce salads. I like the crunch of cabbage, plus it stays fresh longer. I add lots of extra goodies to it too. Just my thoughts as we just finished having a fabulous cabbage salad topped with seasoned ground beef. #cabbage #foodstr #musings

Good morning nostr, this morning we have church, then i think we might go out for lunch with some friends. We still have lots of cleanup and cutting around the old oak trees, but its sunday and we wont rush. It has turned out to be a big job, so many brambles with nasty thorns, all kinds of vines, different undergrowth plants. We're keeping an eye out for poison ivy for sure. I think the old oak trees will breathe better without all the vines and crap growing all over them. Good morning nostr, and happy saturday. Today i'll be trying to make more progress on trail trimming, and also clean up a bunch of vines and overgrowth around a large oak tree near the house. My husband is helping cuz its a big job and also requires a chainsaw. But we'll take it a bit at a time. I also need to look into using my JMP Chat number more often. I set it up a good while ago, and now i need a refresher on the features and how best to use it. I've been discussing this with a couple friends who want to learn more about privacy phones and such, so i need to be prepared. Hey nostr, my back is a bit sore after doing a bunch of trail trimming today, but now i'll get rested up. I'm glad we have chickens that provide us with nice, healthy eggs.
