Its a gorgeous sunny day, i've been outside looking at all the things waking up for spring. We have mulberries starting to come in, and the wild plantain in the fields is coming up. Nature does its thing regardless of all the human stupidity in the world. It comforts me. #spring #nature #countrylife

Good morning nostr, i'm sipping on my first coffee and just enjoying the quiet of the morning. Still dark outside, wish they would do away with "time change", as if the time really changes. So today i have to catch up on office work, then go check the chicken coops. We finally got a little bit of rain yesterday, and i found a dead hen. My husband joked that she died of shock since its been so long since the last rain. Hey nostr, another day is done. Got the cabin all cleaned and prepped for friday, then spent some time on office work. A friend asked my husband if he wanted some fertilized duck eggs, and he said yes🙄. I wouldnt mind except it'll mean getting an area ready for them. I've never kept ducks, so it would be a learning experience. We'll see, maybe we'll have to pass on them. Anyway, yall have a good evening friends. #homesteading
