Good morning nostr, i slept in a bit today because i was exhausted when i went to bed last nite. When i work outdoors and do strenuous activities i get the BEST sleep, much better than simply doing a good "workout". So today we'll be having some family drop by for a couple hours, so i wont get alot done outside. The only thing i'm still not sure about in the chicken run is how to keep the chickens from hopping out. In the past i've tried clipping the wings, didnt work on my chickens. I might drape some netting across the top somehow, we'll see. Electric wire doesnt work well here, because they can just hop onto a tree branch and escape that way. Good morning nostr, the rooster is crowing as he usually does, and my coffee is very good. With the new year, i want to do a better job of keeping up with office work, doing more frequent backups of my laptops and phone, and just better organization of all that stuff. I tend to priortize my outdoor projects because i enjoy working outside. So today i'll be cooking a pot of black eyed peas with bacon. Its been a very long time since we've had those, and its the new year and all, so why not.
