On a brighter note, my friend delivered 3 rabbits to us, only because she wont be able to care for them anymore. They are very pretty too. Anyway, i'm ready to relax now. Dammit, i had to put the younger rooster down. He was finally coming into maturity, and i had noticed the last few days he was being aggressive with the hens. Then just now i walked in to check for eggs and he came at me with his claws. Luckily i was wearing long pants. Thankfully our older rooster has always been nice. I tell all my roosters that they will only attack me once in their lifetime. #MeanRoosters #homesteading

Good morning nostr, its a foggy morning out there, but the temps should be nice today. This morning a friend is coming to drop off 3 rabbits that she cant take care of anymore. She asked if we could take them, doesnt want any money for them, so maybe i'll give her a jar of my pecan butter i made yesterday. Then later we might run out to the resale shop, our fav hangout, to see if there's anything good. Forgot to mention that i received my 100 watt solar panel (foldable) yesterday, and i've slowly been testing it on stuff. Of course it runs all our phones and small battery packs, also the Starlink mini (directly and also the battery pack for it.) It will be useful during a power outage, and i have more testing to do. #solarpanel #EmergencyPrep

Good night nostr friends, today i made another batch of pecan butter, and tweaked it with a small of amount of honey. Now its perfectly suited to my taste! Next i will experiment with adding a bit of cacao powder, to give it a bit of a chocolatey flavor. I love experimenting with stuff like this, because i simply had not thought of making pecan butter, and i love pecans. On the chicken front, i've been thinking about changing up the run area, so i need more time to plan. Anyway, yall have a good evening. #homesteading
