This is only my second time making whipped tallow cream. This time, for the oil, i used infused oil of comfrey, calendula, and plantain. Of course, its mostly tallow, but my recipe calls for a small amount of oil, so i decided to try some infused oil i had already made. I like itπ. #WhippedTallowCream #homesteading

Ok, i cant resist. Time for a smash buy.

Good morning nostr, today i need to finish the turnover at the cabin, and then continue to catch up on things around the house. I'm really glad we have our little guest cabin, because our main house is small.
On the chicken front, the one hen from the younger flock is laying an egg each day now, so i'm happy about that. Just need all the others in her flock to start laying now. But i'm grateful we havent had to buy eggs in a very long time. Anyway, yall have a great monday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart. #coffeechain #homesteading

Good night nostr friends, i'm almost caught up with stuff, after our family weekend. Its nice to get back to normal around here. Time to get a snack and find a movie. Yall have a good evening. #homesteading

I run Linux Mint, and recently installed some updates, including some related to Cups (printing). My laptop suddenly would not print anymore, i asked AI, tried to troubleshoot. No go. Then someone sent me some comments on the Mint forums related to this. Apparently a recent update broke Cups on alot of machines, including mine. So i decided to try using the Timeshift feature on Mint, and reverted to a date earlier this month, and it worked! I can print again! In case anyone else is having the same issue. I'm hoping the Mint team will send a patch update for this soon.
Its chilly today, at least for us. I miss my sunshine. Gotta get busy making some more whipped tallow cream, several of our weekend house guests asked if they could buy some, so i just gifted it to them. #homesteading
