I got a couple of rosemary plants in the new raised bed, along with a couple tiny chile piquin peppers. I love the smell of rosemary, and it makes a great seasoning for chicken. Then i'll be filling in with some salad greens when it gets cool enough. Glad to have this box finished, then i can start on the next one. #permies #gardening #homesteading

Break time on the swing. I got one of the metal raised beds set in place, and now i'm gathering up dead logs to fill the bottom of it. Dont know why i ordered the 2 ft tall kits, seemed like a good idea, but the 1 ft tall ones would have been enough. But the good thing about living in the country is you can always find dead wood scraps to use for filling garden boxes. #homesteading #BreakTime

I have lots of stuff to catch up on around the yard, mainly to start prepping the areas where i'll be setting up the metal raised beds.
