When thinking about #incentives around #bitcoin finding - the hodler / investors / retail wants or should want to keep the BTC …that´s not really anything new. - merchants should want to prefer to accept bitcoin payments …but this is not really happening. The questions is - why? How to help it?

I few weeks ago I was listening a podcast with @stick - Thanks for it BTW, it is great content (cz language) Except other staff, he was talking about #Trezor and about thoughts to somehow integrate Lightning Network. Having said it seems possible only for sending #bitcoin out. I was quite disappointed of this research and brainstorming result, because in that time I could not imagine a good use case for it. But now I see other simple, wuick and cheap possibilities to get BTC into the cold storage out of the LN. Getting them out of Trezor #wallet right to the #LN would be then great improvement! Hope this will come soon.. 🤞

Approx. after 24 hours, the @Wallet of Satoshi was probably able to find more liquidity / channels for me and I was able to send out another 0.01 #BTC (or course there was a network fee - 500 #sats)

Yaay! First time I used #LN not only for #micropayments and standard #purchases at stores. After sending out over 9 mil. #sats it looks like any other transaction 1 mil.+ does not have any liquidity (hopefully this will change soon) I am quite surprised the wallet is not opening channels where the liquidity really is 🤔 BTW, I see I am charged approx. 500 sats for sent out approx. 1 mil. (so I guess this was for some new channels openings) using @Wallet of Satoshi I hope it helps

A few weeks ago I lost my phone.. Well a #funny way (embarrassing for me) and the device could be still somehow found (trust me, I tried and was not easy and not successful). Anyway, some of us might rely on their phone numbers, their power to #recover whatever #services registrared behind (#accounts, #wallets, etc.) Be aware, if you use only pre-paid services (credit top up), loose your #SIM card and will not have any serial code to it, you will very probably loose you phone number and access to accounts you have behind it (could be e.g. some bitcoin wallets and so on).. just keep it in mind 😎 Hope you had some fun while watching the video 😅

I learned #Binance exchange added support of LN withdrawals and deposits. Fees are really low, so I decided to try it. It’s saying invoices generated from #Breez and #Muun are not supported. Alright, but the ones from @Wallet of Satoshi and @Bitlifi do not work either ☹️

Since some years ago I stopped to ask new friends, lads, #contacts to exchange a phone number. I always asked for adding in #Facebook. It was fine, better than phone number, you could learn about the person a bit better than of the phone number, find some more common activities, topics, etc. and you do not so easily forget who is behind the number.. I just started to use @vexl 😎 a couple of months ago and see I have only 4 contacts using it and only 1225 in the second level.. Well, hope the planned #vexl extension to social media contacts will come soon..

#KYC vs Non-KYC bitcoins Do we actually want those NON-KYC coins because of taxes or beacuse of the privacy. I guess, both of it. Taxes issue is solving quite itself, more and more countries are coming with a clear law, time tests, lowered or zero taxes. And more will follow. I am surprised many even well educated, usually well informed and intelligent people around me do not have the right information about #bitcoin and therefore they are sceptical about it. Let’s collect the facts about #BTC network and hopefully they will get to these people or at least you will have these #arguments to explain them your friends who do not know them.. 1. Bitcoin is better than any other money because its market cap is limited to 21 mil. and it is highly unprobable there will be ever more. The network would have to agree on it that would cause devalving of their current hold. pls #share if you find it useful!
