I've seen this anti-pattern recently with the term scionic. The maps between a name and it's meaning will always be primarily political, and so too those who obsess over them. Care about the underlying pattern, it's a superpower in our world.

Listening to @Jeff Booth and @knutsvanholm has changed my perspective on what's going on in Madeira. There is a higher purpose here, and it appears to be guided by ego dissolution, ideas over politics, and low time preference. It's been a relief to be wrong, this is what I signed up for. Looking forward to Bitcoin Atlantis now.

Social games haven't evaporated because you're on Nostr now. Every influencer wants to funnel you, sell you, and apply social pressure for your consent. Don't follow them, don't follow me, don't follow yourself. Lead yourself. Take it and don't let it go. Guard it. Notice when someone is trying to take it from you. Be willing to fight to keep it. And ally with those who are doing the same. This is what it means to be sovereign.

The essence of low time preference is choosing truth later over the appearance of winning now.

It takes more courage than you think to stand up against the status quo.

Text over the internet is such a crude medium. It's so much easier to resolve issues over beer.

You should consider that if silo-ing is a problem at one layer, even if it's fixed, there may be a pattern of correspondence at the higher layers. In other words, fixing silo-ing at the infrastructure layer doesn't necessarily fix it as the social layer.
