Week 110 with #SaturdaysForSatoshi started at the anti-military camp "Rheinmetall entwaffnen!"
A big peace demonstration was planned for 8km through the city.
I chose a strategically well placed bank along the demo route.
Unfortunately the demonstration never arrived, since the cops were attacking and cornering the demonstration after only 1km.
I showed some solidarity with the people in custody afterwards, but there was nothing more I could do, instead of trying to defund the state with all I have.
Day ended with fireworks to celebrate 110 weeks of continuous weekly protests. 🎆

After a month of activism I’m leaving Frankfurt, but I still have to introduce you to the MVP's of the last month.
Bini, a 78 year old antifascism activist with "Omas gegen Rechts" already hosted me last year for a week and didn’t hesitate a second once I asked her if I could crash at their place during my 21 day sit in at the European Central Bank.
We shared laughs, food, stories and timeless wisdom and she would always have the right words on her lips when I got back after a long, exhausting day of activism.
Although she didn’t grok #Bitcoin completely, she was curious and open to install a lightning wallet and get started.
All this while starting chemotherapy, keeping a lighthearted spirit, an open mind and trusting spontaneous order.
I sent her 50% of the #zaps and in person donations I received during my 21 days, which was approximately 42k sats.
Feel free to add to that.

Flo, an adventurous soul, who always has a crazy story up his sleeve about his several trips around our beautiful globe. Either hitchhiking through the US, camping in the desert or dancing through the streets of Korea. He is probably the best tourist guide to book if you’re visiting Europe for a week or two and want to have a deep dive into German culture.
I’ll be forever grateful to have met these two individuals and although I was there for almost 1 month it felt like it went by within a heartbeat. Time flies when you’re having fun they say.
What I do might be scary sometimes, but I wouldn’t be able to do it without being able to rest on the shoulders of giants from time to time.

Week 109 with #SaturdaysForSatoshi
I drew today’s sign at the system change camp earning side eyes, but also sparking interest.
Then I went to the closest Banks around and decided to take place in front of Berenberg private bank.
Had fun making fun of the rich kids of Westend.
Then back to camp onboarding people to primal and giving them a 2625 #Zap to reward their curiosity.
Are you part of the top 1%?

If speaking out for #Bitcoin in non-violent direct action now feels dangerous, imagine how much worse it will get if we stay silent.
Join #SaturdaysForSatoshi today.

Had an informative rest day at the System Change Camp, visiting workshops of composing protest songs, discussing decentralized individual public collective direct action, learning about the structure supporting modern sexism and playing Wizard with friendly strangers who seemed like strangely familiar friends.
When I took this picture I thought about solar mining, gotta bring one of these to the next system change camp.

Day 21 at the ECB.
Year 3 completed.
Happy Bitcoin Infinity Day 🥳
@knutsvanholm ♾️/21M found his way onto today’s sign.
Bitcoiners are a special breed, I got reminded of that early into my shift when Darren, an OG from the US showed me how he brandmarked himself 4 times with a Bitcoin logo.
The scars are his proof.
After he left I got some cookies and mate from a girl that had heard of me through friends and wanted to leave some support.
A little later my favorite group of activists showed up, who were performing earlier that day on a democracy festival, the antifascist grandmas brought wisdom, curiosity and snacks that would help me through the day.
Then Ozan stayed for some time, talking about Bitcoin and perpetual traveling. While we were talking a motorcycle stopped in front of us, a guy in suit hopped of and asked me to open my Lightning Wallet. He was gone as soon as the donation settled, lightning fast.
Michael, a local, was suggesting to put up a statue a my spot, since he thinks that I’ll be missed by the community.
Daniel who’s in town for the System Change Camp dropped by for some meditative session listening to the latest @TFTC video on repeat. It’s a great mantra to manifest #Bitcoin adoption in front of the central bank.
In the afternoon @Fidel dropped by and asked whether all the people carrying chairs were actually building the #HumanBlockchain. Turns out the symphony orchestra had an open air gig at the river.
We enjoyed to watch the flow of passersby’s.
Some trainees from the ECB tried to invite me for a beer during my bio break, but I couldn’t leave my companions for too long.
Charles, who does MiCA regulation asked me about the 51% attack on Monero and was suspicious of KYC regulation, because of potential Data Hacks.
Tom closed the evening with a ukulele Impro session.
All in all, it’s been a great time. Resistance is building. I’ve been talking to many people from all parts of life.
I’m immensely grateful for all the support I’ve received.
I’m standing on the shoulders of giants, and my persistence is only a small contribution to a bigger puzzle we’re all trying to solve collectively.
Tomorrow I got a "rest" day at the climate camp next public action on #SaturdayForSatoshi.

(Un)popular opinion:
Most Bitcoiners are Fiatlings with a superiority complex.

Day 20 at the ECB.
If the system is fighting #Bitcoin through mass manipulation, we gotta fight back through reverse psychology.
Since there is a stubborn kid in every one of us, some of us feel like doing the exact opposite of what we are told.
And what do banksters tell us?
Do not think about alternatives, spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt about competition that could undermine their power.
Bitcoin is too volatile,
It’s only used by criminals on the darknet,
It’s electricity consumption will eat up everything.
We’ve heard it all.
The same tactics are used by Big Oil to seed doubt in the scientific findings about #ClimateChange. Climate has always changed,
It’s not manmade,
It’s just a narrative by governments to oppress and surveil us, bli bla blub.
No one is immune to these kinds of manipulations, although some bitcoiners would claim that they themselves have figured it all out.
Only dumb people think they’re smart.
I don’t know how a world without borders, governments or military would exactly look like.
I don’t know if everyone will be fed and I don’t know if people who need help will be helped.
I don’t know if it will be better, more sustainable, more just and more peaceful than the status quo.
But one thing I know for sure, I want to find out.

Day 19 at the ECB.
Society is collapsing in front of our eyes, yet we’re still functioning somehow.
Functioning in a society that doesn’t function for everyone.
Most people are so caught up in the daily struggles, that they don’t take the time to deliberately not function.
Not be of immediate use or benefit.
fsociety
Let’s build groups of hackers that fuck with people’s perception of reality.
Spawn 21M bitcoiners wearing orange vests in front of their local bank around the globe.
#Bitcoin is Time @Gigi
Time is the scarcest resource.
Let’s show the world how rich we are by "wasting" it at our local bank.
Slowing down, being peaceful, open and present is a revolutionary act, against a system that needs you to improve and function at all costs and at all times.
You’ll be surprised who you’ll meet while doing this. And you’ll make memories you’ll never forget.

Day 18 at the ECB.
AC/DC vibes from yesterday found its way into today’s sign.
While drawing I spoke to someone working on fiscal policy and liquidity.
Then a jazz teacher from Dr. Hochs dropped by to say hi, we’ve met each other at the Cologne meetup before.
After that I was approached by a double agent, working on the inside but leaving a fat #zap on the outside. We talked a bit about stablecoins etc.
Then I got companionship by Alphabärchen, a Bitcoiner from the south, who was in Frankfurt to renew his passport. Read about me in the newspaper, and thought he’d drop by.
The stories he told me could probably fill a book alone. Going from nothing to anything, but still living like a true pleb. Thanks for companionship and restocking Mate and Nuts.
In the evening I listened to "Momo" a story of a girl that helps humanity get back time from the time thieves dressed in grey suits. Had goosebumps because the story fits this place so well.

I woke up like this 🔥
Day 17 at the ECB.
Before starting today’s demonstration of systemic change of mindset at the ECB, I was visiting the System Change Camp, that has been build up the last couple of days in Grünburgpark, Frankfurt.
I left a note at the info-point that companionship is welcome during my demonstration hours.
I got a lot of thumbs up for today’s sign, since it didn’t include the word everyone on #nostr loves: bitcoin.
One highlight of the day was a security guard getting to work and showing off serious grooves to the blues I was playing.
Yesterday another one asked me for a song I was playing: Rich Man North of Richmond.
Toni gave me some banana and strawberry ice cream and thanked me for bringing love and life to this place, while confessing that I’ll be missed once the 21 days are over.
Fidel and I worked the whole afternoon on PIG (Police Interaction Game) and giggled like little children every time we found a new idea on how to outplay authorities.
In the golden hour we worked on creating some content for you guys and enjoyed the dazzled looks people gave us while raving through the evening.
All in all, great vibes.
Time flies, when you’re having fun.

Day 16 at the ECB.
Today was a cool day. Why?
Because the temperatures fell significantly and because of good company.
Can you find the hidden Matrix reference in today’s sign?
Drop your suggestions in the comments.
In the early hours of my shift I talked to my friend @ivy lumi
Afterwards Fidel showed up with his chair as well as Mattis and Johanna, who were on their way back home from France but decided to pay me a visit at the ECB.
I met Mattis in 2023 in Innsbruck, check out his video of our first encounter here:
Charlotte also came back for more Bitcoin wisdom.
And I talked to Sunny, an open and curious passerby who was ready to invest into #bitcoin.
What did I tell people to invest?
Time.
Because never invest money in something you don’t understand.
Turns out, most people don’t understand money in the first place.
Fidel plans to do similar public direct action. He likes the idea of solo protest.
Not for #Bitcoin but for Palestine.
I shared some wisdom from 108 weeks of experience with #SaturdaysForSatoshi.
Guess we’ll have to design a #police interaction game (PIG).

Day 15 at the ECB.
On this day 54 years ago Richard Nixon stood in front of the cameras and broke the United States promise of Dollar convertibility to Gold. This "temporary" decoupling from economics and physics has become permanent.
So permanent, that most people have no memory of what it was like before or have never experienced it.
One year later the Club of Rome published it‘s report "Limits of Growth" a best seller on the predicaments of mankind, since a couple of years before, scientists throughout the world have been ringing the alarm bells about their observations of rising CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere and temperatures throughout the globe.
Apparently there haven’t been limits to growth in debt. While I’m writing these words, global debt rises in astonishing speed. I just went to https://worlddebtclocks.com, let’s see how much interest has occurred until I finish writing this.
The question is:
Will we as a collective wake up from the fever dream soon enough or will we face death from overheating?
We’re currently living through times of mass extinction and the question is:
Collective action or suicide?
No amount of money will solve this problem, no politicians and no conferences of parties will present solutions to tackle this global challenge while focusing on short-term profits and their self interest.
To the bitcoiners:
There are no citadels on a dead planet.
The science is clear. We’re facing an existential threat, we need to take individual collective action now.
To the climate activists:
Without taking personal responsibility over your money, there will always be a system that tries to funnel funds to our enemies.
It’s not a coincidence that it’s called the "Petrodollar" system yet you act like some political party or law or subsidizing would be able to fix an incentive structure that is rotten at its base layer.
System Change happens in your head. And if it already happened in your head, than find the courage to take it to the streets, to the people. Forget about trying to force down the orange pill to a select group of family and friends. If you know the cure to fever, offer it to everyone you encounter. Do it regularly. No one is free until everyone is free. A species can only thrive if everything around it thrives too.
We’re at 42$ Million, that occurred in interest over the past 10 min. That’s 2x the amount of #bitcoin that will have been mined in 2140.
Let’s make sure our grandchildren are still able to visit Venice, New York and the Maledives in 2140, we may fail, but we should at least try our best.
