Vivid dream last night. I returned to my car, from somewhere, and someone had removed all of the dashboard buttons and knobs. They had then hidden several wrapped Christmas presents under the front footwell carpet. Inside the presents, yes I opened them, were lots of dollar store, cheap chocolates, lollies and some kind of flavoured noodles, yes I ate some 😂. Dreams are weird. #dreams #grownostr

New addition to the bush tucker survival garden: Youlk Youlk (platysace deflexa) is a native Australian bush food, produces a mass of yummy little tubers that you can harvest without killing the shrub itself, just dig them out of the soil. Ate my first today, raw they taste like a sweet carrot with a slight pine/eucalypt hint and have a crisp texture.
