2. get your cursor to the front of the portion to be replaced/deleted
3. `Ctrl` + `6`
4. `Ctrl` + `e`
5. `Ctrl` + `k`
6. `Ctrl` + `x`
7. `y` + [enter]

Attackers change the hash, too. You MUST verify the GPG signature.
