Latin America is also still heavily cash based. Markets are not yet applying digital solutions widely enough, unfortunately. When they do, it will probably be a worse regulatory environment than the current fiat banking system.
Self-custody and P2P needs a much higher degree of education and implementation in markets. HODLing is a retard strategy long-term.
