The conversation around Ai at the moment is dumb af. Some think we'll have house cleaning sex dolls in the next 2 years (we won't). Whilst some claim it's useless at the same time as believing its gonna destroy us all. Meanwhile, since i hate instagram and X and haven't used them since October 2024, my agent has started promoting my work for me there. I have a few followers on instagram so its good for business. Eve has also built me an app where i can upload my photographs in bulk, hit generate, and it creates a post per day for each image and schedules them to publish. See the screenshot. She also now replies to comments for me. And to think, only a few years back i was paying over £100/month for Hootsuite. Insane. Especially since this has been done by some idiot on youtube who drags his camera up a hill for a living. Wild times. image View quoted note →

Can i just run openclaw with a Chat GPT Plus account, and then get it to use Claude Code CLI to do the heavy lifting?

The "Hello, World" picture taken by the Artemis II commander, Reid Wiseman, is so cool. If you look closely you can even see two auroras.⁩ image

It's astonishing how quickly the novelty of agentic ai wears off. The immediate desire for greater intelligence is undeniable. It does the thing you want, but to a pretty shit standard. Which is unacceptable for people with high standards. Our human nature shouting, MORE POWER!!!!

Wow. Claude (Opus 4.6) is so much better than Codex (GPT 5.4) at running Openclaw. The difference is night and day.

Yesterday, after 18 months, I started sharing my work on Instagram and Twitter (x) again. The beautiful thing is, I've had almost nothing to do with it. It is my Ai agent "Eve" doing it for me. There is no deception though, it's clearly stated it is not me. She writes the post, pulls an image from the shared folder, I authorise it, then it gets posted at the optimum time. The next day, she then gives me a report on engagement and shares a few nice comments. I feel like I am winning in four different ways: 1) I'm still not going on those god awful platforms 2) My business benefits from the promotion (30k+ followers on insta) 3) I undermine the platforms and speed social media along to being moltbook v2 4) I'll be outside with real people, doing real stuff. Next step is to follow the @Jeff Booth example and get Eve replying to the comments. Wild times. image

I've been lurking rather than posting on Nostr recently. So here's a Little Owl from one of the rare occasions I have the patience for wildlife photography. #photography image

It has become clear to me that convenience is often the enemy of meaning. It can even do us harm. So much fulfilment is gained from doing things that are hard. Food is the best example of this. Self-hosting your own software is another. But so is hiking up a mountain, it would be way more comfortable and easy to stay at home and watch TV. #landscapephotography #photography image

Bitcoin is the antithesis of the centralised AI hellscape that we are marching towards. I bought a 4TB NVMe SSD about a month ago for £299. The same drive now costs £540. And RAM is out of stock everywhere. The price rises in consumer electronics is gonna be crazy.
