Some of them: • CULT OF TRADITION – "The past was better" becomes political truth • REJECTION OF CRITICISM – Dissenters are called traitors • FEAR AS A TOOL – Safety replaces freedom • LAW ON HOLD – States of emergency become the norm • ENEMIES EVERYWHERE – Migrants, queers, the left – someone to blame • LANGUAGE AS A WEAPON – Brutal, dehumanizing words • ONLY ONE TRUTH – Slogans replace complexity Fascism doesn’t begin with violence.
