I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this. I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.

Morning Nostriches! Going in my 1st hunt of my hunting week. That’s the problem with scheduling your hunting week in the spring, the fall weather doesn’t always hold. I do have some inspirational pics from the game cam last night. Hope dude stops by for breakfast! #hunting

Morning Nostriches! Morning pond report is amazing colors! It’s cold out there & there’s a mist rising off the pond, doesn’t look like my pic captured it though. I am off work next week for my hunting week. Very excited. I refreshed my corn pile with lots o goodies & took extra pics of my hunting area to post. #coffeechain #hunting

Morning Nostriches Morning pond report is cold! There’s a beautiful mist rising off the field across the street that I got see when I fed animals this morning. Sheep are in a good mood, turkeys are getting fat & chickens made me eggs. Life in the farm is awesome! #coffeechain
