Don't like wasps? However, you also don't like the chemicals in commercial wasp sprays? I have found a solution! Get a good spray bottle and fill with water and put a tsp. of dish soap in it. Turn bottle to spray a stream... You need to throughly hit and soak the wasp, but the soapy water will choke and kill the wasp within a couple of minutes! Works VERY well! ☠️ And you don't have to worry about a cloud of unknown insect spray wafting down on you! Cheers! #tips #grownostr #gardening

Just about finished with the siding on my shop! I am using cedar fence pickets in a board and batten fashion. The seams in the vertical pickets are cut at a 45 degree angle in order to shed water. The siding will be a major milestone down, next is sheetrock! If you have seen my videos, you will see the open framing on the inside. #grownostr #diy #woodworking #homesteading

Quick Tip: When you are trying to match up bolts or figure out if the threads match. Line up the threads on the two bolts. (Like the picture) If the threads interlock and mesh with each other, the bolts at least are the same thread pitch. Then you compare the diameter. If they are not the same thread, then they won’t fit together. This is a quick way of finding out if you have the same size bolts. Very handy when you have a mix of SAE and Metric threads. #grownostr #metalworking #diy

Totally random thought on a Friday evening... I was nostalgic, browsing Youtube and stumbled across a video about the 1980's character Max Headroom... I am showing my age! Anyway. I found out that the character, that was supposed to be totally computer generated... was not... at all. I know shocker! He was played by actor Matt Frewer in front of a green screen. Now, since AI is the latest shiny object. Has anyone, 40 years later, AI generated the original FAKE computer generated character? I may not be able to sleep not knowing! #asknostr #grownostr #ai
