You need the best tools to be a great craftsman… The best tablesaw to be a woodworker and so on. This is a trap that will only drain your pocket book and keep you from finding your potential. The most important tool you need to express your creativity is your mind. This is your most important tool, not the one you buy from the hardware store. Your mind allows you too use a straight chisel to carve a round shape. So before you go out and spend way too much money on useless tools, develop your creativity. Who knew that when you replaced a 20 year old miter saw blade... That it would cut much better! I admit that for the past 20 or so years I have used the same blade in my mitersaw. I have just replaced it with a new fine 80 tooth blade. CUTS LIKE BUTTER! Don't be like me... If your blade is burning the wood when you cut it! Use a table saw? You need to make one of these... and don't buy one! It is a push stick to push wood thru the table saw blade, safely! Without the fingers getting close. Why do you need to make one? Glad you asked, it is because you are going to run the push stick thru the blade sometimes while ripping thin slivers of wood (just like in the picture). You don't want to a $20 push stick at the woodworking store just to end up cutting it and eventually needing to replace it. They are easy to make from scrap wood and will save your fingers! #woodworking #tablesaw #grownostr #diy
