Holy shit the head bolts are torqued in tight! After buying the right sized hex socket yesterday afternoon I managed to get a couple loose but had to easy out the other one. I'll hopefully get the rest out this morning and have the head off to see if I can figure out the problem. It'd be nice if the rain moves off soon so I'm not having to work in it all day.

Yesterday morning
GO FIGURE. 15 days since the last one, at least this wreck wasn't as bad as the prior. 4th one on scene I was once again out on the highway clearing debris so traffic could still move through. Incredibly the half a house managed to squeeze between and was quite thankful for my efforts. Everyone is okay, just minor injuries.
The motor is still getting torn down and the real fight is the exhaust bolts. I have one left on this side then the head can come off. "OFF WITH ITS HEAD!" Hopefully.

Such shit. The truck motor is NOT fixed and I am tearing it apart for the THIRD time now. Something is fucked in the head so now I have to dig deeper... So frustrating.
I removed the ancient tint from the sled windows and holy balls is it nice to be able to see through them. Was not easy by any stretch but the vast majority is off and the alcohol did good at removing residue.

The timing chians went on with little trouble and I managed to get the bulk of the motor back together yesterday. I was so sore in the evening I had to give in and wait to today to finish it up. I'm REALLY REALLY Hoping I fixed it this time. I will know in the next few hours.

Superb powder #skiing yesterday at the mountain. Only his 5th time skiing we went down his first black diamond in the trees then we hit his first double black diamond in more trees. The powder meant neither were to rating and were much more mellow. He did outstanding and had a great time!
I did a grain run before we went and then on the way back from the mountain a turkey decided to commit harakiri and walked in front of our car.
"Ya ever see a turkey come apart like that?"
Fucker blasted the headlight and the quarter panel but it's fixable.

Quite the day yesterday. Poor dude got his arm hurt #wrestling so he got a visit to the urgent care, but it is just flesh/muscle and not bone so he has a sling for a bit. I was able to get the hay bale for the sheep in the afternoon then got the burn pile going. I'd been wanting to get it burned all winter so it's good to finally have it gone.
Off skiing today with a fresh coat of powder on the mountain.

Up early yesterday and had the printer going trying to use up the roll of filament. Less than an hour to print and .5 oz... by flemingfarm
I got about half yesterday dry before the rains hit and hit hard. The whole afternoon was dumping rain but despite that I was still able to keep the fire going in the makeshift firepit so I could grill our burgers for dinner. The ground was frozen so I haven't built the new one yet so this had to suffice. It worked quite well though.

The timing chains arrived yesterday but I still have to tear the motor apart again. Super annoying but it has to be done and I should have them on today hopefully. Mostly a house chores day yesterday as I kept the #3dprinter going much of the time. Pulled the codes on the car and found the o2 sensors are toast so have them ordered, the timing chains for the truck will be here today, I got the new skis setup to the boots so we are ready for the next trip, then watched the Kraken be embarrassed.

After years of the thing blocking the creek I FINALLY got the stump moved from the pinch point. It has been a major problem in higher waters with the backup. I was able to use the water to get it to float out which lightened the effort immensely. Now I won't have to worry as much about possible road washouts but when the waters are lower this summer I will work on the pinch point to open it up some.

Some serious graupel dumped yesterday. Thankfully it wasn't hail since some of the styro-snow chunks got up to about 1/2" in size. It dumped super hard for minutes and then POOF it was gone. Then a short while later the next cell came over and BAMMM a deluge of graupel.

The sheep and birds were all very impatient about getting the grain yesterday morning. The super slick ground made it pretty hard to get the trailer backed into the pen so it ended up just inside. The pole garden got the second coating and will be ready to till when the ground dries more.

Woke to rain again yesterday morning as I got ready to go to town for grain. Between the prior day
Spring snow made yesterday fun as we went to the #wrestling tournament up north. He did great in his matches winning one, losing one, and winning the third on scratch of opponent to get thrid place.
I worked on the timing tensioners in my truck but am stumped on how to get #2 & 3 out without removeing the timing cover and cams.... So frustrating. At least it rained all night so the snow is gone.
