Morning #Nostr First #ski trip for the full family yesterday. Normally it was just me solo so this was a new adventure. I was incredibly surprised that on one of the busiest days on the mountain I was able to find vast swaths of untouched powder lying amongst the trees. This is my happy place to be skiing, the groomed runs are just for transit between the various tree patches. Thankfully everyone had a blast despite the numerous falls as they worked on learning to control the sticks on their feet. #skiing #hive #peakd #dailyblog

It's quite amazing to watch a 9 dart leg be thrown and Heta nailed one yesterday to which his oppenent and the crowd went full on ape shit. It's a pretty good tournament this year. FreeCad is a badass program and has so many addons available it rather amazing. I've managed to find some manuals and tutorials to work through and am quickly picking up a number of aspects. Morning #Nostr Of course it had to happen yesterday, but thankfully it wasn't Christmas day and I was able to fix it. The water line finally popped a hole in the nipple between two 90s, it had been a tiny leak but managed to corrode enough to become a honest leak. Swapped out the metal for pvc so as not to have that keep happening. Tested my #pew-pew but it's not quite capable of dropping a 1200 fps round down below 900 fps. I have to print others with the varied internal baffling systems to find one that might handle the standard lr rounds and actually quiet them effectively. #homesteading #plumbing #diy #hive #peakd #dailyblog

Happy post Christmas #Nostr! It was a successful day yesterday for #Christmas as the boys are super happy with their hauls. I got a pair of suppressors printed out with the second getting tested out today, with safety barriers in place. It's only for the 10/22 but still if it grenades off the end of the barrrel I want to be safe with the #pewpew. Merry Christmas #Nostr! Almost enough rain to surpass the prior low for the month once it stopped yesterday afternoon. We are slotted for more before the end of the month so will for sure pass 2021. We went out to brunch mid day and got last shopping done amongst the throngs of other people with the same idea. Got the #3dprinter setup and venting then printed the arm for the catapult in ABS. The catapult is badass and quite strong, strong enough it destroyed one of the parts so I had to reprint stronger. This mroning I'm printing a supressor for my 10-22 and am very cuirious to give a try, (7 hour print...). Merry Christmas Eve #Nostr! That was a shit way to start my day yesterday but thankfully I'm quick at solo pitstops and had the flat tire changed out in under 15 minutes. Part of what makes it faster is having a floor jack style jack and not the shitty OEM garbage they give in vehicles. Also a full size spare is WAY better than those shit donuts. Lots of #3dprinting over the day getting the parts for the large catapult printed. I have to move the printer today so I can vent it and print the ABS throwing arm. Another damp morning #Nostr. I finally figured out the right table for the #greenhouse yesterday. I'm going to build a skirt around it so the #S19 is blowing the warm air under it and then it will raise up through the porous table to keep soil and pots warm. It will keep the water from sheeting towards the miner and I can even build a cover if need be for really cold nights. I've got port models for the fans that I can print if need be as well. This all will mean that I can get the greenhouse soil growing as soon as possible in the spring since I won't be waiting on plants in the soil like this year. #homesteading #diy #farming #3dprinting #hive #peakd #dailyblog

The red dirt from it's prior home is still caked on the frame in places but the chips are all working right in testing. Salutations #Nostr It's really amazing how much more heat the #S19 produces than the S9! The #greenhouse is noticeably warmer now and the soil is drying out in a rather large swath in front of the fans. It is looking a lot better for growing this winter over last, I jsut need to clean and tune the S19 today. Can I lube the fans at all, maybe graphite them to quiet them a bit??? The sheep got their new bale rolled in before I headed to town for the attempt at my root canal. My #dentist chose the high road and decided to stop trying to find the narrow canal and referred me to an Endo so as not to damage my tooth or the bridge. Another rotation of the rock #Nostr. Thankfully my truck survived the #wind storm yesterday. The top of the pine tree next to it came of in a gust and grenaded in the driveway mere feet from it. No damage to it, just a ton of debris spread over a couple hundred square feet. The wind lasted all of 4 or 5 hours then it was calm in the evening. My #S19 LIVES! This month is languishing FAR behind the prior years for rain/snow fall so I hope we get trounced the rest of the month. The animals all seem fine with the limited snowfall as they are still able to browse for food. I FINALLY get my #S19 today, 2 months after ordering. With the stupid mellow winter so far it may just be able to heat the entire greenhouse.
