#bitcoin Building Primal
Standard jungle occurrence. Break down on the side of the road, sweat, ask for help, figure it out. Currently in the mechanic and was sadly running old faithful completely dry of oil. Pv
it's been like 24 hours and it really feels like bitcoin twitter is indeed back (for now) i dream of a mulitalgorithmic, polyapporous, open social media world where one man or ceo doesn't have a monopoly on the the "for you" page. Twitter has always done a great job at letting you control what you see. You could switch to following, close the app and reopen and it will still be on following. you can not follow anyone and default to lists and view the world through that lens. Defaults matter and it will always be a competition to game the algos. Twitter clones also matter in the long run, but for nostr to break out, there needs to be a useful app for anyone. loading ⌛ ......... image
haven’t seen this meme in way too long. Feel like people here are 6 through 9s image
How does one keep the multigenerational homes/vibes going in the age of digital nomads? We’ve had a good run so far. In the jungle we’ve had casitas on our property that have had a steady flow of grandparents and friends rolling through. Laura’s parents are there now so we’ll keep the flow going. We’re only one kid in, and it feels like quite a bit of work and it’s amazing having multiple eyes, vibes, personalities, and caretakers around at all times. We’ve basically taken over a building here in Italy. Laura’s parents are on the left and brother with his girlfriend on the right. Things are always just better when there’s more people around. There’s help to do the chores, friends to do nothing or play with etc. I thibk that’s the reason why people have their best times in college. They are always walking distance (or less) away from humans and social events. I’m super drawn towards recreating this somehow in daily life. We did for a bit at the primal house. That was too close of quarters for Laura, but I freakin loved it. Always someone to bounce ideas off of, always family dinners, always someone to ping pong with etc. i may go check out the network state thing @balajis has going on. Sounds fun. We’re kind of (slowly) building out something like this down in the jungle with the health crew and the bitcoin crew. Anyways, just doing a brain dump of human slop on yall and am curious your thoughts on how y’all with bigger families do it if you’ve moved away from fam or are doing family nomading. Pv
