I do fear that we are endlessly building out the Bitcoin ecosystem without a clear direction or idea for what problems we are solving. Many of us are highly motivated and continue to build, educate and evangelize, but few of us really use Bitcoin, or are driven by a desire to use it. We are building for ‘others,’ be it the developing world, the marginalized or agents. But do we understand what they need or want?

I really like Bitcoin’s culture of frugality, but it makes it very hard to establish a Bitcoin economy.

The tables are also often used to play board games, in winter they screen (train themed) movies and documentaries. Depending on how busy the train gets, there may be two of these Skyline cars, and there may even be a chef selling freshly prepared hot meals to economy class passengers, who don’t have access to the restaurant car.
