Back on #carnivore, 1 week into a 6 week tilt. Not being as strict this time with meat only; mushrooms have been added, milk in my morning coffee is ok, and my missus makes yoghurt so I’ll be having a bit of that as she’s making a batch specially for me. Much better supplied with dried and cured meats this time having learned last time to have snacks on hand. Talking about it with people last year I built up a good little trade network so I’ve got access to different jerky’s, biltong’s, salami and sausages - all stuff I’ve been swapping for my own jerky, biltong, olives and pickles. That’s actually been the best part of this all for me, getting more into homemade foods and trading more stuff rather than buying.
