when you build money services for users, you are held to a higher standard. and you certainly can’t do dumb shit with security like check in your secret material to a public repo or have insecure setup flows. but in the LN space, i’ve seen both in the past ~six months. negligence or ignorance, either way disappointing. do better.

when i turned 30 i made major life changes - i moved out of the city where i spent my entire adult life, i bought a cheap fixer upper house in a relatively low cost area, and i added a roommate. then i spent the next 7 years working my ass off to remodel the place. from the crawlspace to the gutters, and everything in between. most importantly, i was living below my means the entire time and saving money. that eventually allowed me to move into a new place and set my mom up in the first house. im stabilizing my family. im laying a resilient foundation for my son. figure out what’s important to you and work your ass off to achieve it.
