🎒📚 Today marks the start of the school year in Benin. Thousands of children are heading back to school, carrying their dreams, their notebooks, and their hopes for the year ahead. A few weeks ago, the Hope With Bitcoin community rallied for our "Back to School 2026" initiative. Thanks to everyone who contributed, shared the campaign, or simply supported our work, we were able to distribute school kits and help 84 children get ready for the new term. Today, we simply want to say: Happy back-to-school to all the children of Benin. ❤📚 And a huge thank you to all the Hope Builders who made this initiative possible. A small contribution can become a source of great hope one child at a time. Hope With ₿itcoin, one satoshi at a time. image
Be the builder of hope the world needs. Be the person you wish there were more of around you. If you want to see more solidarity, start by being supportive. If you want to see more people helping others, start by helping. If you want more kindness in the world, be kind, even when no one is watching. We often wait for others to change the world, while each of us can start building something positive right where we are. A small gesture can bring a smile. A few words can restore someone's courage. A helping hand can change someone's day… or even their life. You don't need to have a lot to do good. Start with what you have, where you are. Be the hope you want to see in the world. 🧡 Good morning, Hope Builders. Let’s build hope today. 🙏🏾🧡 image

🩸 PROOF OF LIFE — 3 DAYS TO GO On September 12, Hope With Bitcoin will be at Proof of Life, a blood donation day in Cotonou organized by Blockchain Benin Charity. We’ll be there as a partner, but also as participants. We’ll give blood too. ❤️ We also want to do our part by helping provide a snack and a refreshment for people who donate blood that day. 🎯 Community goal: $60 (76,711 sats) It doesn’t matter if you contribute 100 sats, 1,000 sats or more. Every sat helps us make this possible for someone who took the time to give blood and help save a life. 3 days to go. Let’s make it happen together. 🧡 #HopeWithBitcoin #ProofOfLife #Bitcoin #Nostr #BloodDonation image
The community has voted. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. Two actions came out on top: • Feed children living on the streets • Support women running small businesses We will do both. We start with the most urgent need: the children. This September’s plan: 1. Feeding children living on the streets - Ambitious goal: 210 hot meals - Week 1: Fundraising - Week 2: Action week - Distribution days: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday - Two distributions per day (morning + evening) - 6,500 sats = 1 hot meal + water - We will also take time to listen to the children’s stories and introduce them to Bitcoin 2. Supporting women running small businesses - $50 support per woman - Goal: 5 to 10 women Full details, budget and timeline are on Geyser here: And this is not just our work. If you sell food, or if you simply want to help where you live: Buy or give a meal to someone living on the street, post a photo and mention us. We will count it toward the 210 meals. We are not doing this alone. We are doing it with you. HOPE BUILDER 🧡 Lightning: hopewithbitcoin@blink.sv On chain : bc1qacqkm06s03drgp8azmu9g72p024wjnv6kgg2xx
One month, one decision made by the community, one plan put together… and now, one action to carry out. But before we take action, a little question for our community 👀 Who remembers what action we decided to take this month? Let’s see who remembers 👇 #HopeWithBitcoin #Bitcoin #HopeBuilders
Hope With Bitcoin is now open to everyone. 🌍🧡 If you’re interested in writing articles about our actions, sharing our story, or learning more about what we do, feel free to reach out. Have questions? Ask us anything. All questions are welcome. Let’s spread hope, one action at a time. ⚡️ #HopeWithBitcoin #Bitcoin #Nostr
One action. One impact. One smile. ❤ This one is for you. Smile as much as you can, because you deserve it. 😊 This is a moment from our school supply distribution on August 21st. Seeing the smiles on these children’s faces as they received their school supplies reminded us why we do what we do and why we must keep going. Hope is meant to be shared. And together, we keep building it. 🧡 image
The Digital Derby, an event that was above our expectations. We have just published an update about the event and we are grateful to you for making it possible for us to participate. View article →
You’ve probably seen BIP-110 mentioned a lot lately on Bitcoin Note. Maybe you’ve wondered: “What exactly is BIP-110, and why are Bitcoiners arguing about it?” Let’s break it down in simple terms. No developer background required. First: what does BIP mean? BIP stands for Bitcoin Improvement Proposal. A BIP is a document proposing a change, improvement, or clarification to Bitcoin. So BIP-110 is a proposal — not a rule that Bitcoin has already adopted. That distinction matters. So what is BIP-110 actually trying to change? At a high level, it proposes a temporary soft fork (roughly one year) that would restrict certain ways of putting large amounts of non-monetary data into Bitcoin transactions. The goal is to reduce the use of Bitcoin block space for data unrelated to monetary transactions. Why does this matter? Bitcoin blocks have limited space. When many users compete for that space, transactions compete through the fee market. In recent years, Bitcoin has also been used for things like: • Ordinals • Inscriptions • Tokens • Other forms of on-chain data These uses can consume block space too. Supporters of BIP-110 argue that Bitcoin’s scarce block space should primarily serve its monetary function. Their concerns include: → Higher transaction fees → More competition for block space → More data stored on-chain → Potentially greater pressure on the network Their view is essentially: Bitcoin should prioritize being money. But there is another side. Opponents argue that block space is a market. If someone creates a valid transaction, follows the protocol rules and pays the required fee, why should the protocol prevent that transaction from using block space? Their principle is: Let users decide what block space is worth. And this is where things get interesting. The debate isn’t simply: “Ordinals are good” vs “Ordinals are bad.” It goes deeper. It is about the philosophy of Bitcoin: Should Bitcoin mainly be a peer-to-peer monetary network? Or should it remain a general-purpose permissionless data layer, where different uses compete for block space? There is also an important technical point: BIP-110 is described as a soft fork. That means the proposed new rules would make certain previously valid transactions invalid under the new rules (while remaining backward-compatible for nodes that don’t upgrade). Because Bitcoin is decentralized, activating such a change requires broad coordination and acceptance across the ecosystem. And that’s why you may see strong opinions, technical arguments, miner discussions and even talk about possible chain splits. The question isn’t only: “Is BIP-110 technically possible?” It is also: “Will enough of the Bitcoin ecosystem agree that these new rules should become part of Bitcoin?” That is a much bigger question. So, should you support or oppose BIP-110? You don’t need to decide immediately. First understand: • What it changes • Why some people support it • Why others oppose it • What it could mean for Bitcoin’s future Because Bitcoin debates can get very noisy. Understanding the issue comes before choosing a side. 🟠 If you find added value in this publication, spread the word by reposting or encouraging it with a zap. #Bitcoin #BIP110 #BTC image

Good morning everyone. ☀ Except those who keep saying children deserve a better future but never do anything to help. To everyone who has shared a meal, donated a few sats, volunteered, or simply believed in our mission, thank you. You may never fully realize the impact of your kindness, but the children will never forget it. May this week bring you the same hope you've given to others. ❤ image
We asked this question during our visit to an orphanage in Benin on June 6, 2026. A 10-year-old raised his hand and answered: "Satoshi Nakamoto." 🧡 This is why we do what we do. Bitcoin education is reaching the next generation, one child at a time. hashtag#StuddyBitcoin hashtag#BitcoinEducation hashtag#HopeWithBitcoin
Happy Saturday family! ☀ Behind every smile we see on the ground, there’s a story. A child who feels safe, a student ready to learn, and a community being rebuilt. None of this happens in a vacuum, it happens because you choose to care. One meal, one lesson, one sat at a time. Thank you for making hope real today. 🧡 #Bitcoin #HopeWithBitcoin #BitcoinForGood image
