Got tipped in US$, so walked to the Foreign Exchange desk inside Thompsons (TUI) travel agents. They asked for my driving licence, date of birth and how I got the $100 bill. Ladies’ supervisor eardropping said “it’s our policy and it helps the banks with reducing fraud” after I asked why 🤡 So now I’m KYC’d with a travel agent and I have cash which I want to deposit into my bank account. But all the banks in the shopping mall are now shut. Supervisor said a Post Office will be able to deposit money into my account. So now I’m driving to the next town. This is insane in 2025. I need to know more American bitcoiners who want family vacation portraits in London. Preferably that keep tip money on a lightning or @Blockstream Jade wallet.
