Common argument: “How do I spend my Bitcoin if the internet goes down?” My thought is that there could have been a potential FUD campaign to convince people that the internet is unstable and unreliable, and therefore that Bitcoin is susceptible to this. Could the Cloudflare and AWS outages have been engineered? Regardless, mesh networks need to be more of a thing to harden bitcoin against this kind of attack.

I'm designing a hexagonal chess set, and this is my first attempt at the hex spaces (this is the underside). They'll use magnets to attach to each other.

Had an epiphany of yet another thing that Bitcoin fixes. Most businesses will pay their employees every month, every two weeks, or (if you're lucky) every week. However, with Bitcoin, there's no reason that an employee can't just get paid at the end of every day. As I understand it a lot of employers will maintain a schedule like this so as to earn interest from the bank by having that cash on hand. With bitcoin there are no dividends like this, so there's no need to have a scheduled "payday" for this reason. However, I can see a good reason to have a "payday". If the business is too large, then, it may be easier for administration to have one large transaction, rather than small transactions every single day for every employee. But even then, you could have a system that automates all those transactions for each employee. Ultimately, "the worker is worthy of his wages." - 1 Timothy 5:18
