Digit is Digit. I love her. I knew her online from wallstreetbets and she disappeared while going through some shit. I keep needing proof she's safe. To anyone I've ever treated unfairly, I apologize.
It seems like retro-crypto accepts enough dice rolls for a seed that wouldn't be cracked any time soon, but it would probably become crackable in the future. Approximately 90 bits. Not as bad as I thought, but still bad. Needs to be able to do 256 bits.
Seriously, the retro-crypto bounty has been posted AND FUNDED for years and still doesn't even have a beta release ready to showcase, because people just keep ignoring it. I spent so much time and energy making that video thinking it was ready to showcase despite being unfinished, which I shouldn't even have had to do. People should be noticing it for what it is and pushing its development so that I could be showcasing a FINISHED version by now, not making me showcase a beta release to try to generate hype to get it finished, let alone making me waste time thinking I could do that when it wasn't even ready for THAT yet. I've removed my recent video about retro-crypto from YouTube because it had one major issue - the dice roll input screen didn't accept enough dice rolls, which I didn't notice while making the video. I forgot at least 50 dice rolls are required, and I didn't inspect it too closely because my personal use case was more focused on converting seed phrases into wallet addresses. The nostr copy can't be removed, so it will stay up, but I'll add a comment addressing this issue. Thanks to /u/anymonero on reddit for making me notice this
This isn't about security, it's about user freedom. GrapheneOS shouldn't complain about Revolut being a security theatre honeypot when they're the same way, but GrapheneOS can definitely complain about Revolut cracking down on user freedom while they stand with keeping Android open View quoted note โ†’
