If you’re in Europe and developing Nostr then you should apply for NLnet grants. They fund a broad diversity of open source open protocols. Their work helped lay the groundwork for Nostr by supporting the precursors and ecosystem. Just don’t make your proposal sound like a cryptocurrency project as they’ll think of bitcoin in the same bucket of shitcoins. So focus other aspects of what we’re doing in the nostr ecosystem. 🫣

Tencent has released an absolutely amazing video restoration library… I think it’s going to cause every old film to be re-released at higher video quality.
Bikeindex.org is a a great grassroots social solution to bike theft since the state and police have clearly decided that they don’t care about it.

I’m really excited about our list support in Nos. It lets me keep up to date with topical nostr feeds and follow people who post less frequently. We also got better hashtag and fediverse support in this release.

What’s people’s favorite tool for integrating an LLM in to their shell, i use zsh… warp.dev works on local devices but it’s less useful on remote servers.
I’ve been using this weird terminal program for a few years, at first i switched to it because it was fast and configurable. But recently they integrated an LLM in to the CLI… it’s so damned nice. I don’t have to remember commands any more. I can just ask the LLM and it’ll walk me through translating what i want to do in to the right commands. I’m using Warp.dev, but i’m pretty sure it’s possible to do this with a custom shell… I’m sharing it here because i recently did some pairing with @Josh Brown on @npub1pu3v...tfch and he hadn’t seen it… i figured others might not know about it either…. and it’s one of those tools that makes me smile every time i use it.
Somehow my query about preloading data in to a svelte store triggered Claude’s safety guardrails. I have no idea what they were trying to prevent me from doing, but asking “what?” was enough to fix it.
