Bitcoin can’t go to zero because like 10% the supply is lost in some dude’s old Dell from 2013 and those coins ain’t ever hitting the market again. So the rest of us are basically passing around the only sats that are left, and someone’s always going to need it to escape inflation, that’s worth something; to someone, somewhere. You can’t have $0 Bitcoin when some Chad from Omaha is still stacking $5 a week.

The goal of BTCforPlebs.com was a place to NOT ONLY learn about Bitcoin, Lightning, Cashu, and Nostr. But to also USE IT firsthand! I believe I have configured all the elements for the actions to take place. From making your first wallet to creating a LNURL; from using a bunker to running your own relay. Now it’s time to empower people to do this exact thing themselves, filming begins this week for the website video series!

I have a personally complaint to make with the Blockstream Jade. Why on earth would they let user pick “any valid” final seed word when doing 12 work checksum validation… Sure. It’s “valid” but it’s non-standard and doesn’t interoperable with other bitcoin wallets AT ALL. It forces you into a blockstream walled garden where you have to buy their hardware or run their special software to unlock your coins.

There is a huge need growing in the ecosystem: Users running your own code on your own hardware. There is freedom that comes with knowing the code your run, ANY WHY! NOT YOUR RACK, NOT YOUR STACK
