When/where is Nostrs discovery mechanism? I have been scrolling global... actually just blocking everyone... for two days. found like half a dozen real people. decided to check out the conversations tab the bots are replying to themselves its easy to tell because they are replying to bots I've already blocked! nostr blacklists will turn this wasteland into a social oasis when fake voices are downed, will we even need discovery? I suspect not discovery can be organic like it was in the early days of the internet. but that only worked because all the sites were real when 99% of the content is fake and automated, you need discovery more than ever, but its harder than ever what a predicament along with blacklists there ought to be whitelists I just went through my favorite posters followers and followed every one... trying to enliven my feed. but most of them are truly followers, theyre not posting anything something has to give. bots have no place in a public square and there has to be a way to discover real content makers
